DigitJim - Good morning to The Land Down Under!

Hi all! I just joined the group. I had a period of disability a few years ago due to eye issues relating from a corneal graft transplant. I had a rejection phase almost immediately and it created severe photophobia to where I could not drive or be out in direct light without being in extreme pain. I went through 3 correctional surgeries on both eyes over the following years and didn't drive for 6 years. Before I was on disability, I was a business major who worked in sales, marketing and corporate job positions for years. During disability, my experiences made me decide to change career fields into the social services industry. I've been earning multiple degrees and certifications since and am currently a crisis counselor. I work with a lot of resources, many are nationwide, so I'm more than glad to help anyone with any resources that I can. I'm always here to help and I wish everyone the best life they can possibly have!
