In light of recent discussions, I wanted to provide a bit of insight into the decisions about the sort of things that get allowed or deleted in the main thread. The thing is, as much as I'd like to spell out a simple set of rules, it often comes down to a judgement call. There are a bunch of factors to consider (e.g. game desireability, game format, effort to obtain, reliabilty of source, time constraints, etc...) and every situation seems to bring new complications.

The main thread is for freebie posts only which makes feedback and explanations difficult. So, if you have any questions or comments, bring them here and we can offer insights and debate philosophy without spamming up the game list.

A discussion misplaced. Although this thread is labeled "discussions", I believe the expectation is to discuss the giveaways - working, not working, additional context, ended, limited etc. Not the games being given. I'm sure there are forums to discuss that as well

I suggest an extension like Multiple Paste And Go Button, it's in Firefox and I think Chrome. If you don't have it already, you will discover you always needed it without knowing it.

BoxLoop has a free soundtrack DLC you can get with or without the game.

EDIT by LH: The main thread is for posting limited time freebies and offers. Paid ==> Free doesn't really apply since the games become "always free" and anyone can claim them at any time. Free ==> Paid has an expiration date and people must claim them before time runs out so a main thread mention is fine although they don't generally warrant an announcement.

Understood. Tho I think I've seen some paid -> free posts in the past. Maybe just for good/known games?
