Guys? Whats that smell...?

Uh oh! Here come the fujoshi! Its the Handsome Husbandos bundle, loaded with tons of otome games!

$18 for these 9 items

Fashioning Little Miss Lonesome

MAMIYA

Bakumatsu Renka SHINSENGUMI

OZMAFIA!!

DesperaDrops

Nightshade/百花百狼

Steam Prison

Our Life: Beginnings & Always: DLC Pack (DLC)

A Date with Death Deluxe DLC Pack (DLC)

So, the question we always ask: Is this bundle worth it?

I'm gonna need help from you guys on this one. The RIPEST of you fujo here, come forth and tell us! We need to know: did any of these really get the juices flowing? (I'm granting the rare chance to corrupt your peers here!)

Though these stories are in the "otome" genre, they aren't without variety. We have crime, fairy-tales, steampunk, and even both Sengoku and Bakumatsu period stories, and these are certainly high quality visual novels. In all seriousness, I immediately think this is a fine bundle to get for VN readers.

But be quick! The bundle is only around for 5 more days! If we're lucky, there may be a time extension. Sorry I didn't inform sooner!

I've actually played a few otome games in my days (some curated here even). They're oddly, quite gripping? And the stuff those guys get away with in them...

Frankly, I've been badly wanting the peace of mind to sit down and read, but I feel that's coming. Its no understatement to say I'm emerging from one of the busiest periods in ages, and I hope to cozy up and finish some VN I've started.

Anyway, don't worry bros. We will soon ban all fujoshi once again, but for now, we must let them have this day.

Kairosoft, ArcSys and Yuri Bundles!

July 3 - daicon | 1 Comments

Hey there, been a bit! I wanted to make sure you didn't miss any of these currently running deals on fine JP games here this summer. We have three different humble bundles down below, as well as a really good deal on Kairosoft games I think are worth checking out.

I just wanna start off with a reminder that any bundle you get on Humble can have its payment sliders adjusted! Don't like IGN, a specific publisher or charity? Don't be shy about adjusting the sliders as you see fit. Its your dosh!

First up is a set of 8 diffrent Kairosoft bundles right here on Steam:

All 8 Kairosoft Bundles
https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/77849/Kairosoft_30th_Anniversary_Vol1/
https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/78030/Kairosoft_30th_Anniversary_Vol2/
https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/78574/Kairosoft_30th_Anniversary_Vol3/
https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/78713/Kairosoft_30th_Anniversary_Vol4/
https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/78990/Kairosoft_30th_Anniversary_Vol5/
https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/79417/Kairosoft_30th_Anniversary_Vol6/
https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/79487/Kairosoft_30th_Anniversary_Vol7/
https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/79983/Kairosoft_30th_Anniversary_LAST/

Kairosoft is a small team that specializes in sim management games with an immediately recognizable pixel style thats become something of their own signature genre. Like several of you, I first discovered Kairosoft with Game Dev Story on Android, but they've been around since around 1995 and have grown here on Steam and mobile with success branching into anime tie-ins.

At around ~$7.50 for 4 titles each, I think its a great time to either try out or collect Kairosoft. Its also a pretty unprecedented discount for them, so I definitely think its worth getting some.

Yuri in Luck: Waifus for Laifus Bundle

https://www.humblebundle.com/games/yuri-in-luck-waifus-for-laifus

$12 for 11 items

Kindred Spirits on the Roof
Lilycle Rainbow Stage!!!
Letters From a Rainy Day -Oceans and Lace-
OshiRabu: Waifus Over Husbandos
Please Be Happy
SeaBed
Fatal Twelve
Blackberry Honey
Night Cascades
Highway Blossoms
Highway Blossoms: Next Exit DLC

I haven't read a lot of yuri, either in manga or VN form (any recommendations?). I can recommend SeaBed though, and the quality of the titles makes it looks like Fruitbat Factory, MangaGamer, Sekai Project and others pooled together a great selection of reads. And for only $12? Anyone even remotely interested in yuri should get it, right?

Its only live for another FIVE DAYS, so be warned.

Arc System Works Evo Collection

https://www.humblebundle.com/games/arc-system-works-evo-collection

$20 for 11 items

Guilty Gear -STRIVE-
Blazblue CentralFiction
Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes
Blazblue Cross Tag Battle Special Edition
GUILTY GEAR Xrd REV 2 Deluxe Edition
Arcana Heart 3 LOVEMAX SIXSTARS!!!!!! XTEND
Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code
KILL la KILL - IF
CHAOS CODE -New Sign of Catastrophe-
Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R
GUILTY GEAR

For $20 you get Strive (love it or hate it), UNIEL II (latest version) and even Blazblue CF (getting a new character?). Plus there's a handful of titles no fighting gamer should be without, like GGXXAC+R and Melty Blood. They even tossed in the original Guilty Gear! I first experienced Guilty Gear on PSX by chance as a kid, and I'd be glad for others to get to experience it too, and see where the series came from. GG has slowly walked away from its heavy metal influences over the years, but on the playstation we had rough guitar performances like Holy Orders, and Sol was from the start the most badass fighting game character I'd yet seen. And if you play well, you might get to see Baiken before her boob job!

Overall, I'd say its a fantastic fighting bundle, likely to tempt you into getting newer Strive and UNIEL dlc, but also doesn't skimp at all on value. I'd defintiely consider it.

Between Kairosoft, Arcsys fighters and yuri VN, theres gotta be something for everyone right?
And while you're at Humble, check out the "JUNE 2UNES" rhythm game bundle I almost missed mentioning!

JUNE 2UNES

https://www.humblebundle.com/games/june-2unes

And the Steam sale is on for another week (til July 9)! I'm thinking of posting some steep deals from the Steam sale to highlight, but been a bit busy lately, plus I always get overwhelmed with the Steamsale and usually do all my shopping in the final hours of the sale.

Hope its a pleasant summer for you over there, and hope I bump into you in one of these ArcSys games someday!
