First of all, thanks to everyone who showed up last week. Unfortunately, it seems we need more players. There's already now been more players added to this upcoming session, fingers crossed that we get in a lobby. Based on the current confirmed players we should already have nearly doubled the amount of players from last session.

As some of you already know, we're going to try out a session tomorrow at 16:00 GMT+1 for the european players. I've made a steam chat for the people that lines up with that session the most, but there are still some players that have; A) Not filled in the forms so I don't know the region or available time and B) Have filled out the forms, but not accepted my friend request so I'm unable to add them to the chat.

Any european players that are available to play tomorrow and are not in the chat, just send me a friend request. Not too late to join :)

Finally getting the show on the road!

Hi! I know I've been distant as of late. I won't get into the details, just been busy with life. Meanwhile this group has grown without me and we've now reached enough members to try and find lobbies.

In terms of actually getting it done I figured we could try to schedule a set date, but first let's address the elephant in the room. Tl;Dr at bottom.

1. Player Count.

So Fireteam is a game mode intended for 40 players and you need at least 32 to start a match. I know we're just 31 (although some haven't joined the group yet so we are actually more), so that would mean we're not enough. However, there are still players who's actively searching for Fireteam who's not part of this group so I'm pretty sure we'll be able to find a lobby. The intention was never to get enough members to start a full lobby, but enough that we're guaranteed to enter a match and could play. Squad wiping isn't exactly an easy feat either so we could boost just to get it over with.

2. Region

While I see a lot of Europeans, there's also a good portion who's american. To my knowledge CW doesn't allow you to choose which server region you want to play on. This means the possibility for say west coast US matchmaking with Europeans is somewhat low. While I don't think Fireteam is completely dead, it is dead enough that it's not impossible that the game will give up and matchmake across the pond so to speak. However, this does mean that we should probably avoid searching during high traffic time (saturday evening for example).

Alternatively we could divide into american and european groups. After going through every steam profile there seems to be a 50/50 split between american and european. There are 15 unaccounted for. Either way I think polling people on region would be easier for me to setup a date.

I'd like to try with a low traffic time to search with as many of us as possible. Should it not work out we could then divide into region and search at high traffic times. Happy to see feedback in the comments.

Tl:Dr: While we're not enough people for a full lobby we should still be able to get into a match and potentially boost to just get the achievement done with. As far as I'm aware we can't chose what region to search for in CW (if anyone knows how without the use of a VPN let me know) and because of that we might have to divide into american and european region. I'd like to try searching at a low traffic time first with all of us, if it doesn't work we split the group and search at high traffic times. Poll at the bottom for what region you're in and what days and time you're available to play so we can setup a date.
