PS3 MotionJoy Alternative (No longer need to activate a driver every log in)
Using MotionJoy and booting straight to BPM can be a huge pain considering you have to enable the driver every time you log on. Well after searching for a solution for sometime I have found one that works for me.

The file that you need is located in the first post at this link. Just click "download latest version here."
http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-XInput-Wrapper-for-DS3-and-Play-com-USB-Dual-DS2-Controller

New Install
1. Connect your Dongle and DS3 via USB and let Windows install it's default drivers.
2. Unpack the archive.
3. Create a directory where you want the Service to run from. [Recommended - C:\Program Files\Scarlet.Crush Productions *]
4. Copy the contents of the ScpServer\bin to the directory you created.
5. Run ScpDriver.exe.
6. XP/Vista - check the Force Install option. Win 7/8 leave it unchecked.
7. Click Install.
8. Click Exit.

This should do the trick. Restart your computer and steam should now detect your PS3 controller as an Xinput compatible controller without having to load a driver every time you log in.

You should no longer have to load a driver every time you log in in order to get your PS3 controller to work with your games!

This will make it easier to turn your PC into a dedicated SteamBox so theoretically you never have to see your desktop if you want to boot directly into BPM.

*Note* I don't have blue tooth so I couldn't test the pairing, but there are instructions to pair the PS3 controller in the Link as well.

Another way is to look in the motion joy folder, the drivers are there (in a folder called drivers ;)) and you can install them properly through device manager. Then use betterDS3 instead of DS3tool to configure, you only need do it once. :)
DO NOT USE the motionjoy drivers. Ever. Use the scarlet crush ones provided in the OP's link.
y not use motinojoy drivers ever? are they bad to have?

I have found that the MotioninJoy drivers have several problems:
1) The software is horribly written and can possibly overwrite your drivers for other devices, rendering them useless.
2) The uninstallation process is incomplete and leaves the drivers on your system if you wish to remove them later. This will also stop other devices from functioning if the drivers overwrote something useful.
3) The UI for the "DS3 Tool" looks like it was made by a 3 year old. The colors are clashing, the button placement is random, and the general intuitiveness of the whole thing is nonexistent.

Just stick to the drivers that the OP linked and you'll be fine.
Note. do not use this if you need to use your bluetooth dongle for anything else. If you have more than one dongle make sure its a different hardware version or it will overwrite the driver for both devices. I had two bluetooth dongles and using this overwrote the driver for both devices (I had the main one disconnected when I installed as well). Luckily it was fairly easy to roll back the drivers and uninstall xinputwrapper. If you only need bluetooth for the controllers and nothing else (eg. keyboards etc.) then this may work for you.

I don't need my BT dongle for anything other than the controller but I would sometimes like to be able to use it for my BT mic. I thought maybe i'd get lucky and it would somehow work with these drivers but it does not.

Anyway is the rollback process easy enough where you can do it and then undo it in a reasonable amount of time so if I wanted to make my dongle work again I could?
yes. once you roll back everything else *should* work fine again. My keyboard did at least.
I did this and it work fine, however, I also have a PS4 remote set up via ScpServer, and when I press a button, the action is carried out twice. How can I configure the PS3 remote to be a second controller, to enable me to play 2 player games? (Trying to play Mortal Kombat)

In case someone else wonders why, I just had to reinstall Windows 7 64-bits completely due to an infinite blue screen loop caused by MotionInJoy. I was getting "KnownDLL failed STOP C000021A" forever. Spent a whole trying to diagnose the issue. I'm going to try with Scarlet Crush now.
For some reason it isn't working any more. Its flawless yes but even when I try to reinstall scp it still doesn't pair with my control anymore.
If you're using BT and your dongle isn't supported you have to install the zadig drivers. When you do it you first have to load the bluetooth.cfg and then select your dongle from the list and install. I was having trouble with it and realiszed I was missing that .cfg step.
It's working a little too well. How do I unpair controllers? As in, re-pair them to PS3. I plugged in a second controller into my PC USB to recharge it but it was automatically paired to the PC. I know L1+R1+PS turns it off.
this dosent work, it screwd up my controller, now it wont turn on when i connect it to the pc

It's to do with the screen being locked with the controller attached, that's as far as I got before desks were flipped, and aforementioned better driver choices were located and installed.

I've been using SCP DS3 for months now, on several machines, with varying OSes, not encountered an issue yet.
Even the Bluetooth set up was completely painless.
This didn't work at all... Now my computer isn't even recognizing the controller in the USB controllers thing. Seriously, nothing I've tried is working.

Maybe I should have charged it all the way first? But how do I tell if it's fully charged??? This is so annoying!!!
