Help us translate Steam
- removal of items from Library listings (some of us have games permanently listed there that have got revoked for example, or it was only a temporary access license, also Steam allows removal of games from library now) fixed, thank you =)
- editing of titles of items (or at least make "short distinguishing note" visible in offer pages also)"distinguishing notes are now visible more thank you, but they still don't show up when listing is in edit mode fixed, thank you =)
- ...implement all the good stuff Theemu's scripts do as of today :)
- Force first time login users to review and apply trading preferences
- Pin, maintain and flag games listed by the community here: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/bartervg/discussions/0/133256959370296637/
- Add a remove from library and a definitve solution to that old trouble (many Beta and Time limited keys around):
http://steamcommunity.com/groups/bartervg/discussions/0/357284767239989971/
- This game (and others ?) is in my tradables thanks to Theemu script I believe, but appears in the -Unlinked Items (cannot filter or match)- section as well

FWIW, whenever I see something that's missing on LT I just assume that it's just not there yet and will be implemented at a later time.
And since you're actually active and involved with the user base, I figured you would create such a post yourself. (Or did you? I can't remember and the site is down at the moment.)
Since steamtrades / steamgifts separated, it's not possible anymore to leave feedback on steamgifts. Therefore, trades with obligatory steamgifts-rep setting are never marked as completely finished.
However barter, this is huge:
if a game is revoked, you lose from your library, but barter does not update this and says you own it forever. Please update library lists to reflect removals.
@humpaaa's - more specifically we need the link to be our steamtrades link. let us manually set that since it will not pull from steamgifts anymore (only links a useless SG profile)
@Quantum - more specifically we need to define WHAT qualifies as given away. 500 key flash giveaway? 1000 key? 10000 key? hosted on certain sites only? what if the GA is over a year old, is it no longer a GA and the tag expire? What about my favorite, russian traders upvoting greenlight games and hoarding keys? Before you respond with, well that's not a giveaway, it sure is since devs are actively creating forum posts advertising free keys in the free key section of the website. Out of sight, out of mind?
Lastly, if barter is here to stay, are we able to apply for reversals on failed trades? i have written evidence from my whopping 2 (and can confirm with other side who wrote on your profile) to reverse the failures to cancellations.
I did create a topic in Lestrades' steam group, and you made it clear you wanted me to stop reporting user experience and suggestions
Interestingly, you never had the ballz to respond in a similar manner to other users reporting the exact same things on your site[lestrades.com].
Go back working on making Lestrades better, I am worried for your sanity.
I agree, it goes along with what R6D2 mentioned. I would appreciate having moderators (with of them being distinct from the ones we would have here in the Steam group) to review the conflict backlog and resolve the disputes.
That could help traders get a cleaner profile and have some active users back (e.g. Ufolec[barter.vg] ,..).
This raises another issue regarding more secure sessions. While being able to extend cookie expiration helped in this situation, sessions should be invalidated server side. Cookies expire after 2 weeks, but sessions live until logout and therefore potentially indefinitely. What does everyone think is a reasonable length for sessions to last?
This will likely take time. In a sense, this has been broken since the start, but didn't become obvious until the database grew to millions of rows. Nao recommended a different database table structure. I will share more about code and db structure in a separate thread.
I added Steamspy info today so while it was adding the owner count, I filled in all of the missing titles automatically. There are still incorrect titles since at this time, it doesn't appear (I thought it did, but I couldn't find any update function) the title is ever updated after the game is added to the database.
This system needs to be reworked, but if anyone doesn't mind clunky input UI, I will add volunteers. However, there is a coordination problem. There's nothing preventing duplicate entries if multiple people are working at the same time.
This was an easy mistake to avoid if I had always had the current year at the top. I added that and 2017.
Which ones? I looked through ITAD and added Chrono.gg, DLGamer, Gamesplanet, Sila Games as stores and Bunch of Keys as a bundle site.
This was a problem when the tag was introduced. I think it may be more accurate to add give aways in a simlar way to bundles.
I assume you mean automatically during sync versus the ability to manual remove. Since the wishlist does remove existing entries, it should be a relatively simple change, but I'm holding off on any changes with the sync to avoid breaking it completely.
Added. I believe this will be less of an issue once more titles are automatically corrected.
Redirecting the page to the base game profile?
With enough volunteers, that could be a big improvement. I didn't have any way to view disputed offers in one place. Created https://barter.vg/disputes/ and will build out moderators tools from there.
I will create a separate topic for this and Steam makes this easy to implement.
I did fix the blank game titles and added 2017.
I haven't signed in for the first time in a long time, but I believe new users do land on a preference page.
Added new trading tags "invalidated (Dev)" "invalidated (DMCA)"
I'm hesistant to add the edit option for all library games as changes could be reverted by syncing. However, automatically removing library games could be the same as what happens now with wishlist.
If you have it in tradable and unlinked, I think it will remain unlinked rather than add a second row of the same game. Wouldn't you want to remove the unlinked one?
Can Theemu's scripts associated to Barter.vg be safely removed now ?
