Humble giveaway keys disappear, even with gift links

Humble warns that the giveaway keys will disappear. However, the gift links still work and you'll even receive the usual gift email from Humble.

I received a working gift link for The Darkness II. Upon redeeming, Humble sent an email stating

Thank you for redeeming your gift code for The Darkness II

Following the link led to the standard bundle page, but there was no Steam key to reveal.

It's not a big surprise, but it's something to be aware of when redeeming Humble gift links.

Was very strange that The Darkness II giveaway had the gift option in the first place.

Speaking of....all unused Spiderman: Shattered Dimension keys bought on Humble were revoked and not replaced. If you have one, check. If you were shopping for one, your odds just diminished.

As of now, I believe you have to request refunds individually. Can't say for sure yet as to the outcome though. I have requested my key instead lol.

I had 2 unrevealed purchases for Spiderman: Shattered Dimension from HumbleStore, which showed "we run out of keys bla-bla-bla" instead of actual keys. A few months ago I finally decided to ask Humble support about them and got obvious response that they are not able to provide keys - only refund, so I received refund for them.

Revoking keys without refund issued looks strange for Humble (IIRC they did revokes a few times, but only with refunds), therefore it most likely publisher did it on their own. Anyway, if key was revealed, then there is no way for Humble to determine whether it was used.
