[Feature] Check boxes to mass label/remove games
It would be useful to have a check box beside each game so that one could label (i.e. set the progress of) or remove multiple games at a time.

+1 for this if it included selecting games to add to a list

Yes, including lists too. This applies for anything where multiple games can possess the same properties.

Any progress/thoughts on this?

Umm ... sorry for replying only now, I haven't been really active these last days/weeks (please don't kick me ;) ...
Some thoughts:
  • I agree that this would come in really handy at times ... but
  • ... mass assigning is somewhat more error-prone -- especially when not using it for 5 or 10 games, but for 50 or 100. Misselecting can happen easily and will just as easily go completely unnoticed for a long time. (Only an observation, not really a reason against it.)
  • The implementation will probably take lots of fiddling, but it's not really hard to do.

I think your idea was having this for the table view, right? ... I think the other views should probably use the same thing. Means some more fiddling though. ... and then the "edit game" dialog would actually be useless and could be removed (or rather be cleaned up to be a "game info" one -- I had some ideas for that and getting rid of the "edit" part would play into my hands ;).

My original motivation for this change was with respect to the table view, but implementing it for the other views would be pretty much the same thing except you'd just need to find a nice place to put the check box of course!

What exactly do you mean regarding removing the edit game button - do you simply mean to rename it to be game info? I don't think that button could be removed unless you're planning to implement a "master edit button" that would become visible if at least one game is selected, and can mass modify a group of games if multiple are selected.
