Hey everyone,

We are currently having some network issues with our IRC and web systems. Users will notice periods of total network loss followed by sub optimal routing and packet loss.

We've contacted the provider and hope have everything back online soon. Game servers are unaffected, however services like the MOTD and ban list are offline.

Please note that I will be taking all servers offline today, at 11PM EST for maintenance. We're going to perform some hardware upgrades to our box.

Downtime is expected to last through out the night while I reinstall everything. This will allow us to bring our NMRiH servers back online. I will also touch up the site once I'm done with this.

Yes this announcement is late, but I thought I'd make it official.

I am pleased to announce we have acquired a new CSS server from Tactical Warfare. It's a minigames server. Special thanks to Element for the opportunity. If your wondering about the Smee server, it was taken down due to lack of interest.

The server has been moved to our box, and the new IP is: 63.143.39.195:27015. User's favorites list should be automatically updated by Steam within 24 hours. In the mean time, the old server is redirecting users with supported game clients.

All ranks and store credits were reset, and below are some small but important changes:
- Ranks have been reset.
* Users who have not logged on for over 30 days will not count in rank commands.
* Users who have not logged on for over 180 days will have their stats purged.

- Added 28 new maps and removed 2 old/bad versions.

- Certain commands have been restricted to group members only.
* Auto jumping.
* Map nominations.
* Rock the vote.

Of course, there is much more work to be done to be fully inline with all of our game servers. All bans have been reset on this server. We've got some exciting things in the pipeline for our NMRiH division next so stay tuned!

- All "Create New Thread" buttons now redirect to forms if you are in a application section.
- Added "Ban Request" and "Ban Appeal" sections.
- Simplified forum structure.
- Other backend upgrades and changes.

Due to circumstances at my job (business is closing), all servers have changed IP addresses. They are now also in New York, NY, instead of Dallas, TX. I'd like to stress that these servers are still professionally hosted in a datacenter. It's not NY because I live there. NY was picked because it allows international players to get more decent pings.

Of course, this also means that donations are now more important than ever. While I hope to be able to foot our bill ($50 at the moment) every month, it may not be possible. So please, help create some financial security for us if you can. In addition, all of the old IP addresses will be redirecting to the new ones to allow time for everyone to take notice and update their favorites list. The servers page has been updated as well. In other (more happier news) a major update is coming to our CSS division, and some long overdue NMRiH updates are in the pipe line as well. Stay tuned!
