Hey everyone,

We are adding one Rock of Ages 2 key to the prize pool!

RoA2 key winner will be picked on 28th (will be announced in the contest thread), so he or she can jump into the game right away. Other 4 winners will be picked on the 1st.

Contest details:

This time you will have to make a Rock of Ages drawing in a setting that you would love to see in game. What boulder(s) to use is up to you.

Now I am not saying that your drawings will end up as levels in game, but it will be cool to see what you guys come up with. :)

If you don't know how to draw, worry not! There are many tutorials on YouTube, like this one. Start with a vision in your heart and put it on canvas.

Both physical and digital drawings are allowed.

Post your drawings in the comments below. One drawing per entry.

The contest will last until the end of the month. We will pick 1 winner on 28th of August, who will receive a key for Rock of Ages 2. And 4 winners at the beginning of August, who can choose a key for one of our games, except for RoA2.

I doodled up this, it's a place called The Holy Cathedral of Dust, from my own game. A desert of dust with weird creatures and old relics buried around. I thought it would be cool to draw a boulder rolling around there. Doubles as concept art for me! :D

I would just love to see a desert setting, so the great pyramids came into mind. I was thinking you start at the peak of the pyramid and sort of delve into it, like going inside of it. I realize that it wouldn't be to scale, but I think artistic liberties could totally be taken. then, I imagine having a jump out of one pyramid into the mouth of the sphinx, or something like it.

I love desert settings and sand because they are generally easy to run and look so beautiful.

Also sorry for the quality, I have never taken any art classes and am too busy with work and college to learn at the moment. If I get time I will try to improve on my design.

You won't believe how happy I was when I saw the new trailer. Literally seeing an egyptian map and a sphinx boss made me go absolutely bonkers. It's almost like you guys made the game for me. Is there anything I can do to support this game further?

Spread the word! Having a big healthy community will really help us in keeping the game alive with future updates, new content, etc. If you visit any other forums, channels, etc, make sure to let them know about our little game.

This is my entry, Id like to get things rolling with some space levels of some sort, like asteroids colliding, and interacting with beings of pure dynamism of some sort, so this digital drawing is called Weird Outer Space with Boulder of High Strangeness.

Ive been a huge fan of your work for some time, and all I can say is, it takes something different to even dare to be creative in this sad lame derivative world, originality has become an endangered species, but some keep the dream alive and the fire burning bright!

Keep it up! , and if you ever need ideas for the weird outer space, Id be more than happy to help out!
