Hello everyone, welcome to the "new" Abyss. If this is your first time showing up here, you are probably a little confused. After roughly 10 years, it was decided to finally pull the plug on the forums, but this Steam community was created to sort of take it's place. It's not perfect, but it's free and (most) everyone already has an account.

Please pop into the discussion area, especially if you are an oldbie looking for the old site, and introduce yourself! We'd love to see you in-game some time!

As I'm sure some of you have noticed, I've disabled the forums. I'm backing up the database and will keep a copy of the forums in a compressed folder on my Google drive, and upon request may release it to others if they want to do up a temporary server and surf around the forums for old time's sake, but this will only be available to a select few.

Anyway, feel free to continue any conversations on the little forums here, and I'll let everyone know when the transition is complete.

I haven't yet decided how I want to handle the "move" URL wise, but chances are I will make abyssia.com/forums redirect to this community so you don't necessarily have to change your bookmarks.

Anyway, RIP Abyss 2005 - 2016, gone so soon but not forgotten.

Since I'm shutting the forums down soon I thought it'd be good to have one last Hell-On to celebrate our community.

I want to hammer out the actual schedule because I'd like to do two sessions for all who might not be available/willing for one or the other. I will probably only be able to attend one myself but depending on what we agree on I might be able to do both. I'm thinking it's probably wise, also, to flip the usual schedule around a little if errone is OK with it.

My first suggestion is this:

SESSION 1
Saturday, December 18th: 700GMT (7:00AM GMT)! This translates to:
2300PST (Friday, December 18th, 11:00PM Pacific Standard Time)
0000MST (Saturday, December 19th, 12:00AM Mountain Standard Time)
0200EST (Saturday, December 19th, 2:00AM Eastern Standard Time)
0900EET (Saturday, December 19th, 9:00AM Eastern European Time)
1630ACST (Saturday, December 19th, 4:30PM Central Standard Time)

SESSION 2
Saturday, December 19th: 2200GMT (10:00PM GMT)! This translates to:
1400PST (2:00PM Pacific Standard Time)
1500MST (3:00PM Mountain Standard Time)
1700EST (5:00PM Eastern Standard Time)
0100EET (Sunday, December 20th, 1:00AM Eastern European Time)
0730CST (Sunday December 20th, 7:30AM Central Standard Time)

The games so far are:
Doom (Make sure to have Zandronum up to date)
Soldat
FlatOut (maybe)

Let me know if anyone has any immediate concerns/suggestions, otherwise I will set up two steam events for the sessions in a day or two. <3
