As I'm sure some of you have noticed, I've disabled the forums. I'm backing up the database and will keep a copy of the forums in a compressed folder on my Google drive, and upon request may release it to others if they want to do up a temporary server and surf around the forums for old time's sake, but this will only be available to a select few.

Anyway, feel free to continue any conversations on the little forums here, and I'll let everyone know when the transition is complete.

I haven't yet decided how I want to handle the "move" URL wise, but chances are I will make abyssia.com/forums redirect to this community so you don't necessarily have to change your bookmarks.

Anyway, RIP Abyss 2005 - 2016, gone so soon but not forgotten.

Since I'm shutting the forums down soon I thought it'd be good to have one last Hell-On to celebrate our community.

I want to hammer out the actual schedule because I'd like to do two sessions for all who might not be available/willing for one or the other. I will probably only be able to attend one myself but depending on what we agree on I might be able to do both. I'm thinking it's probably wise, also, to flip the usual schedule around a little if errone is OK with it.

My first suggestion is this:

Let's not kid ourselves, The Abyss will never TRULY die so long as it lives on in our hearts. I may be killing the site but we can still congregate and chat here! Or, you know, neglect it and forget about it. Maybe update your bookmarks.

I still want your memories of days past on The Abyss! You can post them here if you like, or on the old forums while they're still up.

On that note, the old forums will probably go down in early January if not late December, so get a good whiff of it before it's gone!
