OM [ZG] Zombie Gaming

When there is no more room in Hell . . . the Undead will walk the Zombie Gaming Servers

Welcome to the Official Zombie Gaming Steam Group. . .The Horde Awaits
Founded in 2008, [ZG] Zombie Gaming has been going strong for close to two decades! We’re more than just a Steam group—we’re a global community of gamers, mappers, and zombie fans united by one thing: our love of the undead.

Why Join Us?

🧟 Custom Maps & Mods – Our members have created some of the most jaw-dropping maps for Zombie Panic! Source, No More Room in Hell, and Contagion. If you’ve ever thought “this map is insane!”—it probably came from one of our members.

🎬 Zombie & Pop Culture – From Dawn of the Dead to The Walking Dead to Evil Dead, we debate, dissect, and celebrate zombie, and even undead, movies, comics, and television shows.

👥 All Are Welcome – No gatekeeping, no fees. Whether you’re new or a veteran, human, alien, or zombie, slap on the [ZG] tag and you’re family.

🎉 Servers & Events – Survival nights, leaderboard competitions, movie nights, and plenty of chaotic fun.

The Real Party: Discord

Steam groups are cool, but if you want to actually squad up, laugh, argue, and survive, the horde gathers on the Official Zombie Gaming Discord:

👉 Zombie Gaming Discord[discord.gg]

That’s where you’ll find game nights, map drops, movie chats, and endless debates about whether fast zombies count.

Monroeville Mall Archive is Live!

28 juni - [ZG] CPT QuaG | 0 kommentarer

For all of those George A. Romero fan's out there, I have created a preservation grade digital archive for the Monroeville Mall — featuring Dawn of the Dead 1978 history.

For horror fans, Monroeville Mall is not just a mall. It is "The Mall"[monroevillemall.org].

It is the place where George A. Romero turned ordinary retail space into one of the most iconic locations in horror history. But beyond Dawn of the Dead, the mall has its own story — decades of stores, renovations, community memories, photos, events, strange little details, and pieces of history that are slowly disappearing. For the Monroeville Mall, that fate is coming soon with Walmart's plans to demolish this hollowed space. Such a place is really now seen by Romero fans as "A Temple" as described by Ken Foree during the 2026 Living Dead Weekend.

More importantly, it is a preservation-focused archive dedicated to Monroeville Mall, its history, its connection to Dawn of the Dead, and the community that remembers it. The site includes historical milestones, photos, videos, store-directory entries, news stories, film-location references, memorabilia, and community-submitted artifacts.

Members can submit artifacts, help identify old stores and locations, participate in forum discussions, and contribute their own memories. Whether you are a Romero fan, a Pittsburgh local, a former mall employee, a collector, a horror historian, or just someone who still misses when malls felt like entire indoor cities, I would love for you to check it out and join the community.

Because some places are too iconic to let fade into the food court fog machine of history.

I believe it seems like a lot of zombie games get rushed and sometimes focus more on money grabs than making a genuinely good game. I personally don't play games with crazy special infected. Give me grounded zombies, good gameplay, atmosphere, and a decent story.

Why in the end of the day only 3 out of 1000 zobmies games are good?

can't we have a remake of left 4 dead 2 or contagion but with PLAYABLE GAMEPLAY no zliens, no giant plant no big monster, some lore and blame to governement and yk a good game? yeah i know zombies were famous from 2012 to 2022 but hey, most of zombies game JUST SUCKS

Mr. Firewall, please feel free to continue to post updates of this game in our discord. If there is any upcoming playtesting, I would be more than happy to make those announcements/events both in this group and our discord.
