ABOUT Weird & Wonderful Game Watch

Dedicated To Obscurities & Oddities: From Hidden Gems to Games On The Rise

We're young, dumb, and covered in coming attractions!

A group for exploring those special Steam and Space Oddities

Boldly going where---well, at least a few people have gone before. I mean obviously, but probably not like a ton of people... so still, you know, relatively obscure places. Most of the time anyway.

We're a growing group of friends that run this little love-letter as a passion project. There’s so much cool stuff we want to share, with an ever-growing list of awesome out there, and we’re going to highlight all those weird wonderful picks for an audience that craves them. Inspiration tends to defy organization so coverage tends to flow from intrigue with the newer titles coming in getting covered with the same frequency as we breakdown the backlog of titles we think beautifully fit our raison d’etre too but that might’ve gotten side-tracked by life at the time. We have such sights to show you.

If you wanna reach out to us, you can hit us up on our email address [the one and ONLY, don’t trust any other email or solicitation claiming to represent us] :

To quote the ending monologue of "Ratatouille":
" In many ways, the work of a critic is easy. We risk very little, yet enjoy a position over those who offer up their work and their selves to our judgment. We thrive on negative criticism, which is fun to write and to read. But the bitter truth we critics must face, is that in the grand scheme of things, the average piece of junk is probably more meaningful than our criticism designating it so. But there are times when a critic truly risks something, and that is in the discovery and defense of the *new*.The world is often unkind to new talent, new creations. The new needs friends.

It outlines a philosophy we really embrace. There’s no greater pleasure in our work than the eager excitement of experiencing and ultimately sharing the new and exciting, the underappreciated and overlooked; the weird and wonderful.

We cover all sorts of work, but what we're all about is the exploration & promotion of the new. We want to spread the stuff we love; reveal the stuff you’d already love if only you knew it was there; and help navigate the stuff you’re not so sure about in hopes of the best risk factor with your choices.

WANTED: YOU (maybe); We could always use some more hands, or even the bodies those hands are attached too., If you think you might make a solid fit for our group's purpose, know how to write, and have an interest in trying reviewing out (whether shortterm or a more serious involvmement with our cause), then please hit us up about coming on board as a reviewer. (Add ReptilianWorldOrder & mention why).. )
