Hello fellow VoFers, how are we all? Good, I hope. It's been a while.

Apologies for the absence, I've had another child in the interim and now I have more than I can catch in a crisis, it's very trying ;D

Anyway- small new development! Inspired in part by actually getting to see a handful of you in the last few days, there is a new way to commune with the spirit of VoF!

I've set up a Discord server, for both chat and voice, excellent quality sound whenever i've used it before, so i figured it might be worth a shot for us.

Install and configure it how you wish, and while it's running, pop this in your browser of choice : https://discord.gg/uvHZtEh

It should link you up. Currently there's only general and TF2 channels, but let me know if you think of good ones to add, and maybe I will....
once i'm free of the midget rodeo. Wait, that sounded better in my head than on paper...

Curator Page Online

Hello everybody! How are we all this fine evening? Wilde has tasked me with setting up a Curator page, which is now online and viewable. If you have any titles you'd like to include, Admins can add it themselves or drop me a message to add the title. If you like, you can add about a tweets worth of text as a mini review (or i'll write it- your call!).

Yes yes, its 6 years since we put on the masks folks and I think we should have some games to mark it.
As is traditional we shall we rallying round the family tomorrow night from 8pm to play some Fortress, catch up, trade horror stories of RL and generally be obnoxious to each other.
I know things have been quiet of late, but its time to show em all we aint done yet.
So get TF2 installed and come have some fun like we used to.

Just waht it sounds like.
Relauching the voice shortly, with a new front end courtesy of brother mart.
I liked the first attempt in terms of subjexct matter and there was both incisive and funny articles on there. Nothing is being deleted but I want us to move back towards being funny rather than attempting to bring people to the cold hard facts.
So lets bring the funny people.
Oh and any other ideas send me an email and we'll discuss it.

...when we celebrate like lunatics yet another year in the trenches with the VOFer's. Yes, Our 4th birthday rolls around on the 17th, and Commandant Wilde requests the online presence of as many troops as possible to mark the occasion this coming Thursday. Even if you can't spare the time for a round or 10 of TF2, at least come on for a friendly chat, it will be great to see everyone.

Spread the word, and once again Thank You All for making our group what it is today-we couldn't do it without you. Let's make it to 5, eh?

Good News!

You may have been wondering why i've not been on so much recently. Well, two main reasons really. First is, i've been quite ill on and off over the last few months, nothing major, just a shit immune system leading to one man-flu after another.

The second, and more important one, is I am becoming a father in October! I'll let you know all the lovely info if you like when we are busy burning/stabbing/shooting/exploding each other across badwater basin or dustbowl. Anyways, the early chaos is over, so should be seeing you all a bit more soon. Apologies for the abscence, feel free to target me online as punishment ;)

On The Brink

Hello, and yes, i'm not dead yet. Brink is due out this week, looks like it could be a worthy addition to our roster of man-shoots. Me and Wilde are going to test drive it, and let you know if it's worth investing in. Should be as much fun as TF2 and BC2 were!

Yes, it's that time of year again- Voice Of Fate is now 3 years old! Congratulations to all of us, and a hearty thank you from the Tower of Fate to all members for keeping us going. We've spread to become a bit of a collective in and out of game, lots of stuff going on in the website side of things, take a look if you haven't already.

Anyways, keep up the good work, I look forward to scorching all your asses and taking multiple rockets for an other year!

Plain Sight is verrry cheap on Steam right now, about £1.60, so go get it while you can-yet another multiplayer game we can slap each other silly on. It's quite good speedy, comedy ninja robots killing each other in tron-esque mp levels. At that price you'd be silly not to try it at least :)
