Time for an Update!

Hey there youmangfacedudepersons!

Thought a little update would be warranted, still working with K-putt, Simon and the site dev (Pixel Judge crew) with our ideas with incorporating ReShade/SweetFX into the site, that's basically all I'm waiting for before I start "officially" pumping out some presets again.

I have a few in the works that I've been playing the new games with, they're not finalized, nor have any screenshots to show em’ off yet, since as mentioned above, I'm just waiting, my mind has a funny way or working. :P

I'm going to share a few that I’ve been using as of late in the meantime, feel free to try em’ out, who knows, you might like it for now, eventually I'll have them good to go, spend more time fine tuning them and having some screenies and links available for www.sfx.thelazy.net SweetFX Junkies and www.PixelJudge.com

I'm currently using ReShade 3.0.4[reshade.me] just install it to whatever game you choose, install shader package (I'll give exact list of the ones I use once PJ section is set up, which would be less shaders to need installed = quicker loading)

Shift+F2 is the default ReShade in-game GUI controls, just follow simple instructions, choose my preset (download below links, drop in same folder as game.exe) if you're unable to select it right away, just name your own, it will load shaders, show options, should be able to select mine then from drop-down list, if not, reload shaders/restart game.

The following presets all have F1 key set as default toggle

Battlefield 1[drive.google.com] (I have Post Processing on Low (removes FilmGrain) when I made this)
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare[drive.google.com]
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered[drive.google.com]
Mafia III[drive.google.com]
Oxenfree[drive.google.com]
Space Run[drive.google.com]
Zombi[drive.google.com] (MXAO is set to F2, you can disable it at anytime while maintaining everything else)

Its been 16 months since I last made an announcement on SFX Junkies, lol... time flies when life's kicking your ass. I wasn't active for so long, obviously, but I wasn't gone, just took a long, long, long break. :gaper:

Well, the break will soon be ending, the last few months I've been working with a small group of super swell fellow gamers with writing, editing and general PC gaming news/reviews on www.PixelJudge.com, things are going pretty well for me lately, thus I've been feeling the old "spirit" burning up within me again. :steamhappy:

Talking with my friend and owner of PJ, he's been whispering in my ear for quite some time now about SweetFX/ReShade and bringing some of that to the site. What can I say, he's quite the smooth talker, so very soon I'll be back to cranking out a few presets, hopefully in a timely manor.

We're currently working on ideas about how to implement SFX to the site, me and K-putt will be collaborating on ideas and having our own section dedicated to ReShade/SFX and our presets. Hopefully something more pleasant to the eyes and easily accessible to all those who like our style. I will continue to post future presets on this group and on www.sfx.thelazy.net, which has been my home for many years, but I'll be focusing more on PJ, making it my central "Hub" for all things SFX related that I work on. :rockon:

With the finalization of ReShade with 3.0, having a 'Plug and Play' shader function and a simple preset loading function with an in-game GUI for tweaking on the fly, I can say that it's no better time to come out of the shadows again. It's no secret that I wasn't fond of the direction ReShade 1.1+ was going, but I'm very thankful where it finally landed, it's all the things I've always wanted. All those years bugging Crosire and Ceejay finally paid off :happymeat:

So from here on out, my old "drag, drop, unzip and go" presets are out the window, due to some of the code that makes up ReShade being requested to not be shared in any other method besides directly from www.ReShade.me, as such, I'll be linking directly to PJ site, with screenies and a link to the ReShade download and my preset itself, subject to change but I reckon that's gonna be the dealio.
