FPS Counter Font: Little bit tiny.
Small suggestion, easily implemented, can the font size for the fps counter be upped by a least 2-3 times the size, the new one, while handy, is also microscopic. Had to get my hubble space telescope out to see it.

Just an added part, I noticed there is space below the tickbox in the steam settings that could be handily used for a font size dropdown so people can tweak the fps counter font as they see fit, perhaps also a colour picker next to that too for the ultimate in choice. :D

Be in the steam client beta under settings > account, then go to the in-game tab, you'll see a new checkbox called show in-game frames/fps.

If you're in the beta, make sure you updated to the latest using the "steam" tab at the top left of the steam client, then check for updates.

Something else that would be nice would be the ability to customize where it shows up on the screen, preferably an option for top or bottom in the middle, etc, as well as a hotkey to toggle it on or off. That said, I'm really happy to see it being implemented!

It would also be nice if the FPS counter is either a high contrast color or the users have the ability to change the color :)

I'm ok with the size, but it can be seen when recording with NVIDIA Shadowplay. Not sure about other programs yet.

FPS Counter
Your reactions and thoughts?

First thought: Looks great. A little small, and hard to read on a white screen, but other than that ok. My only gripe (as a Youtuber) is that it can be recorded with programs like NVIDIA Shadowplay. I'll test out some other programs, but that should be fixable.

How do you get it to pop up?

Open overlay ingame, go to Settings and then In Game. There's setting there.

And OP is right, it's very small.

the size is way to small i hope they add so we can be able to change the size or color or where it can be placed.

Yeah it would be nice if we could change color and size and position of fps counter.

The font size is fine. It's unobtrusive, as it should be.
tankz Jan 3, 2015 @ 6:59am
It's not on the overlay, it's on the game itself.
For me shift+tab brings up the overlay.
Give us an option to put it on the shift+tab overlay.
Thanks.

The FPS counter isn't in the overlay, but WildlifeMarshal is saying how you can turn in on without leaving the game. You can also turn it on from your settings in the Steam Client, but it will show up in-game, not in the overlay.

Quoting for truth. Please Valve don't force a large size on us.

Yes. Don't "force" us. I think we should be able to adjust it as we want, but I'm ok(ish) with the current size.
