Activity Feed is blank
Hey Guys,
it doens't matter how often I reaload the page, restart steam, clear cache/cookies, dnsflush or even try different browsers...
My Activity feed is blank.
Pls fix

Edit: In Google Chrome and Internet Explorer I get a "HTTP ERROR 500"
and in Firefox and in Steam I get no error, just a blank page
Edit2: https://steamcommunity.com/id/scherzeking/myactivity does load and work, but https://steamcommunity.com/id/scherzeking/home does not!

Same issue - can see own activity but not friend

I'm guessing need to submit a support ticket to get anything done :(

Yep, I'm on it, but so far I'm only getting standard answers.

"Hey look at the Steam Help Site; try out Steam Beta and get to your local PC Expert"....

yeah very helpfull with a Serverproblem...
But thank you for letting me know, that I'm not the only one ;)

Yep black screen for ages.. seemed to coincide with sale (was busy around start but only happened since then) so I figure some kind of server/network overload.. but that's weird/rare for Steam
Hey I've got a helpful message back from Steam Support:

"Thanks for contacting Steam Support regarding your difficulty connecting to the Activity Page, I'm happy to provide a suggestion.

Please try navigating to the following link: https://steamcommunity.com/my/blotteredit

On this page, find the section for "A group I belong to:" and uncheck the option "Posts an announcement" before retesting the issue.

Should the issue persist after trying those steps, or if you're unable to connect to the Activity Page settings link above, then I am sorry, but I do not have a fix for you at this time.

Along with reports submitted directly to Support, the Steam team uses a number of community sources to help investigate the frequency and severity of issues like this. These issues are continually being addressed through Steam Updates. Support does not provide any information on upcoming or planned fixes."

The only Problem I see now is, that these group announcements are the key feature I use. Maybe there are too many to load on my page, but I've no clue. We will see what's next

Same, I mostly use for group notifications/announcements, as well as friends screenshots etc. Will look into this 'fix'
Hey a small update:
I've tryed to leave some groups, so I don't have so many announcements in my Activity Feed. Now it works again, without disabeling them.
The Steam support said they redirected all the information to the appropriate department.
So let's hope they will fix it soon.


Just for now there are 2 workarounds:
-You either disable the group announcements here: https://steamcommunity.com/my/blotteredit
-Or leave some groups; btw. When you follow a Game on the Steam Shop you will join a official group of that game aswell. They count aswell. When you want to leave them go on the Shop page of that game and click unfollow.
