- Added the ability to force-enable Steam Play in per-title properties, including for native games

This option does not exist, I think a oopsies has been done.

I am having issues with download speeds on this new beta update. it either could be caused by a linux mint update or this steam client update specifically

Really nice seeing another set of Linux updates this close together with the previous patch. Thanks, Valve!

Thimple ThighMan, sounds no fun indeed.

Dear devs, I went back to stable to see if that still had the nicknames, and phew, it does. Please fix that. :) (Nice side-effect, it also doesn't put red lines under nearly all words.)

@Mickmane, yes indeed, a single-click (on the scrollbar) does undo this 'feature', but it should NOT occur in the first place.

If you subsequently move the mouse over to the scroll bar where it re-attaches itself to the mouse cursor, there's an instant jump upwards/downwards, making you go dizzy, then it'll randomly work properly, scroll some more then it'll happen again ....repeat...makes browsing a bleedin' nightmare.

That's why I always use Firefox or Chrome for browsing Steam pages for the past year or more as the client is completely ♥♥♥♥ed for that purpose.

Did Steam forget all the nicknames of my friends!?

Forcing a wine app to use SteamPlay over the native version will use the wrong path to the executable if the native version is still installed. For example, trying to run the Windows version of TF2 will look for ~/.local/share/Steam/SteamApps/common/Team Fortress 2/hl2.exe instead of wherever the imported library location is (ex: ~/.wine/Program Files (x86)/Steam/SteamApps/common/Team Fortress 2/hl2.exe).

@Mickmane

The vertical scrollbar, right of the client.

Go to the Store page, or your activity page. Drag the scrollbar up and down a few times to scroll. Eventually the scrollbar will STICK. Let go of the mouse button, hover over the scrollbar and move the mouse up and down and the scroll bar now moves without it actually being selected!
