What is this? I don't even know myself. Anyway, this is a way for you all to know what kind of is in the inner workings (at least the somewhat confirmed stuff). I may post in here from time to time just to mainly remind myself of what we have planned. Other than that it is free to read.

Kris and I have made a small little commitment to bumping our Planet Minecraft and Minecraft Server List posts everyday to hopefully start drawing more people in! While the voting system doesnt give rewards at the moment( I currently dont have an estimate when that will be fixed up along with the registrar site), I do ask that you still try to vote! Kris officially put up a post for a somewhat of a build contest on the reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/SpinalCraft/comments/6xbj0d/spinal2_spawn_building_competition/) . Im giving it tell the 15th of September on that to come up with something.

As of today, I implemented a new donor class to the slipdisk plugin! For those of you that either donate $20 or more one time or make a monthly commitment of $5 or more that reoccurs every month, this will elevate you in Slipdisk to have 4 slips total with no cooldowns at all. As for our little issue with the slips that have been going on since the transition, that seems to have been completely resolved. There is one little setting that keeps the "database" from disconnecting even when no players have been online to access the connection needed to be upped to a higher hour count. Hopefully that resolves that issue!, if not I'll devert blame to Jason and we will go from there. While we are on the topic, for those of you that are donor status, when you access S2 you may not have access to all three Slips. ***PLEASE REPORT YOUR USERNAME AND THIS ISSUE ON THE ISSUE TRACKER EITHER ON DISORD OR ON THE REDDIT.*** I can reapply this per username as these come across as I have for those of you already.

In the final news, over then next few weeks I am working on removing the whitelist from the server. The newcomers can join and interact with players and chat on the server, however until they register they will not be able to do anything other than that! Part of this change will be introducing a "hub" server that features some of the best builds from the spinal 1 server spawns(and bases if we find some cool enough). This hub server will act as a barrier from letting new players access SpinalOne and SpinalTwo but still allow them to talk and get a feel for what we have achieved as a community! The hub server will also act as an event server and creative server as well! While the ideas and implementing this are still under construction, I do expect a higer than normal influx of players. If it is not to much work, I will allow the new players to access the S1 and S2 server, but until that full implementation this is the best route. There will be a fairly strict guideline on the creative aspect of the server but thats all to come. As for this "devblog", I think I've finished up what I want to say. I do forsee a event or two this coming month, so please spread the word of Spinal! Invite folks here! Thanks all

For those of you who it concerns the server currently goes into maintenance mode between 4AM and 6 AM CENTRAL. While the server is completely playable at this time minus a short little 15 minute window, there may be lag spikes during this time. I would say that these should be few and far between, but please do expect them. The server does completely shutdown for 15 minutes at 4:00 AM sharp(there are warnings). Thanks again!

XMAS EVENT 2016 - 12-18-2016

Good day Spinalings
With the King of the Ladder event passed us and some of us getting our names for the secret Santa event, here is a breakdown of next weeks events and what to do if you haven't gotten a name!
1- The Xmas Event 2016 will run at 3 PM Central on December 18! 2- During this event, gifts will be given! 3- This event will be a mad dash event for tickets and in the end will feature 10 total legendary tickets if we can get more than 15 people on the server for the event! 4- The participation prize for this event will be extended to 1 ticket per person for every 5 people on for event! 5- There will be a Spinal Screenshot during this time as well, so let all your friends know about it!
The Event will be under the great xmas tree and feature several rounds of PVP! Each round will be ten minutes long. Above you while you are fighting, there will be Radiant, Ascendant, A few legendary, and Xmas tickets being randomly dispensed. After the ten minutes, pvp will be turned off and you will be able to put away your loot from that fight. There will be 5 rounds total and following the event will be the screenshots and the secret santa dispersal.
Remember, invite all your friends! Spread the word!
