The makers of Soldat and King Arthur's Gold have just launched a free pre-release weekend for Trench Run, their mayhem-filled, laugh a minute shooter with no death.

No death means that the fun never stops, even when a missile comes flying into your face. When that happens... well, simply crawl towards a medikit and continue playing.

Apart from mayhem, Trench Run features a unique truce phase - you can socialize with the enemies at the bar after blowing them up in the trenches, play basketball, or... buy yourself a pet.

All of this is framed in a feel-good gypsy jazz soundtrack (recorded by professional jazz musicians) that beautifully contrasts with the screams of injured soldiers.

So turn into a shrub. Have a dance contest. Buy a pet crocodile.
