Secret Santa

KYBDPilot — Thu, 26 Nov 2015 00:34:32 +0000

Hey guys,

MissMoppy suggested we do a secret santa thing and since enough people seem interested, we're gonna go ahead and do it. Just like that. Dont question it. So, if you wanna be a part of this, just let me know over steam. I'll make a list of who's participating and figure out a way to randomize who has who very soon. You can send me that message even if im offline. Even you clan reps can play too!

The price limit is under 5 US dollars

KYBDPilot — Thu, 12 Nov 2015 05:54:52 +0000

Hey everyone,

As useful as the Holy Sun decal has been for representing us, check out the decal our very own Steelshark made! It looks great, and hopefully will get into the next patch if we all work on upvoting it. Heres the link:

Clan TS info and The Chaos SKirmish

KYBDPilot — Tue, 03 Nov 2015 23:50:52 +0000

Hi Solaris,

First off I've made a few decisions regarding the TS server, until I see some more use out of it I've reduced the maximum to 10. If we start hitting the limit I'll move it up again. Another decision I've made is that anyone who shows clan pride n' stuff by putting the Solaris Unicode in their name like I have will get their own ts icon designed. Let me know if/when you've done it and what you want your icon to be!

Second I will be resuming the hosting of the Chaos Skirmish. For those of you who don't know, this is a relaxed event of three games where I randomize the crews and roles of everyone in the lobby. I also have a chaotic extra set of rules for the third round. A few of these were recorded on my previous clans YouTube channel Sandstorm Republic Official. Check them out if you like and hope to see you there!

New Rules and Games

KYBDPilot — Sun, 25 Oct 2015 19:14:00 +0000

Hi Solaris!

Two big things to tell you all about. The first is an official change in how long members are allowed to be inactive. Now, members can be inactive for only 14 days. They may be inactive for up to 21 if they give me a reason, but will still be removed after that. Members removed for inactivity are absolutely welcome back. I'll be sure to notify those people already close to this limit after posting this.

The second big thing are a few games I'd like to see the whole clan test out. It may not be something any of us want to admit, but GoIO wont be around forever. Also, sometimes we just want a break from it. I've created a discussion for these games, the link is below. Check them out and let me know if you would like to play any of them sometime.

Clan Officers and Competitive!

KYBDPilot — Mon, 05 Oct 2015 04:21:07 +0000

Hey Solaris,

Because our gentle clan cap is 30 people, I've went ahead and made what may be our only three officers. They are FadedSilhouette, TamzinXD, and Fl-Ash. Please respect them as you would me (insert funny joke here) and recognize them as pillars of this clan

Next is about competitive play. First of all, if you are on the fence about competitive, please come see me or an officer. Competitive may not be what you think! Just because you sign up doesnt mean you'll be playing tournaments tomorrow. You and your ship can take time to train! Read the rules if you have even more questions.

Clan Color Decided!

KYBDPilot — Mon, 28 Sep 2015 18:19:53 +0000

Because it appears as though everyone was able to vote in the first round of voting, we can consider our clan color officially decided! The winner was pure white. The clan color is optional of course, you can deck yourself out in it or not wear it all. Lets see who has the most clan pride!

Vote for our clan color!

KYBDPilot — Fri, 25 Sep 2015 23:46:12 +0000

Hey guys, here a quick way to vote for our clan color! This will only be the first round, don't worry. Be specific with your suggestions

Teamspeak Server!

KYBDPilot — Fri, 25 Sep 2015 03:49:52 +0000

Our teamspeak server is fully setup! Check out the discussion in general for the info. Many of you have connected before (its the old SREP server) but the password has changed.

Make sure you tell me when you join so I can give you the right groups. See you there!

Genesis

KYBDPilot — Thu, 24 Sep 2015 15:46:01 +0000

Welcome to all who have joined Solaris so far. I cannot put into words how happy I am to have you here. I truly believe our clan will become something special.

I am in the process of setting up the steam group, which will contain all information pertaining to the clan. There will be three sub-forums, General is for official and member-created clan threads. Competitive is for our competitive teams, and Knowledge will be multiple guides, stat charts and other things that can be used to make yourself better at GoI.

Currently I have no plans to divide the clan into any kind of roles. This means no programs. This does not mean that if you don't want to do something cool for the clan you are not allowed. Anyone who contributes to the clan beyond the usual should be and will be greatly respected and recognized.

Lastly, I would like to announce that our first officer will be FadedSilhouette! Please congratulate her as she figures out her new role in the clan.

Welcome to Solaris
