Developers are censorshipping rètards that ban any and all criticism of them or their game whenever they can:

Knowing that, it comes to no surprise that despite this being in EA for 6 years, it got released in an extremely broken state:

---

The game has been injected with DEI political agendas. Male/Female has been replaced with "Body Types". The game features "non-binary people". Strong & independent women archetypes have been rammed into the lore everywhere and the game art features mostly females, often minorities and including shìt like pink hair. Read why all of this is bad here:

The game wants you to have rimworld-esque AI, unfortunately all forms of NPC's in this game have the collective brain cells of an amoeba while also lacking critical basic things like priority systems. They want to have a law system with police, yet you can quite literally take apart a station piece by piece and then sell it back for millions (including at the start) no questions asked.

If you are not caught in the act direct line of sight when taking it apart, they don't care. There's also police patrol vessels and if they decide they want to board you for an inspection but your hangar is occupied, they will ram you at 500km/h. The developer couldn't bother fixing this and instead just turned off their damage from ramming. Similarly, NPC's constantly fail at docking and instead bounce & fly by near stations constantly acting like missiles for you to bump into.

---

The game wanted to simulate spaceships + space. Unfortunately, the devs couldn't be bothered to even implement a fraction of this. Instead, the player and their immediate location exists in a pocket dimension. Other entities will never EVER be visible to them regardless of their proximity unless docked/tethered instantly with UI buttons.

---

The game wanted to simulate the complexities of space travel and approach + docking procedures. Unfortunately, the devs decided to give you the worst UI, controls and lack of information there ever was while expecting you to just "wing it" threading needles while going 50km/s+ with very limited fuel + thrust capabilities even on the most nimble of ships.

The primary thrust for space travel comes from assembling a nuclear reactor and for some reason, the use of it is restricted to an incredibly broken "Autopilot" system that will 9/10 times see you crash into planets despite knowing their trajectory. Messed up at one point, ran out of fuel, etc? Fortunately there's a rescue button on the UI!.... That opens a cheating debug menu in the 1.0 release of the game.

---

The game wants to simulate gaining experiences when you do stuff. Unfortunately, new players will already have their characters immediately bricked because the developer thought it would just be extremely hilarious to have it's entire character creation system hinge on a convoluted "pick random choices in random events leading to random outcomes" horseshìt.

"Train by playing!" I hear you say: Unfortunately, doing things like lets say physically demanding labor, running around a lot etc, does not actually make your character more fit. This ONLY improves when you run on a treadmill. Which will take 2000 IRL hours at 16x game speed. Yes, the rates are literally 1% XP rate world of warcraft private servers.

---

The game wants to simulate the long stretches of time where you do fuck-all going from A to B. Unfortunately, not only are you restricted to only skipping at most 6 hours (single trips can take days/weeks) but there is quite literally ZERO gameplay to be had on these journeys outside of fixing scratches from random micro meteorite impacts. The loop becomes Eat > Drink > Shìt > Sleep > Press Skip Button > Drag up to 6 hours > OK > Repeat, ad infinitum.

It's a dumpsterfire. Thrusters want to be in walls, and not be obstructed... But you can remove the walls and add obstructions after they have been installed and they'll stay no problem. Want to put all thrusters in your front but still have full control in all directions somehow? Sure thing. Batteries require to be installed on floors... But you can remove the floors afterwards and they will stay attached.

Reactor fuel tanks demand 3x3 space for their sprite size, sure thing... But then they also want an additional 4 squares in all directions on top of that? This forces ALL space ships to be enormous ugly piles of shìt as you need at minimum 5 of these things + a reactor.

---

Due to the aforementioned reactors, ships get big & heavy REAL quick and you can only use reactor thrusters until you get within 5000km of somewhere (outside of gravity, it's usually even more restricted). This means you're FORCED to use RCS gas thrusters, yet there are no big tanks for them as with reactor fuel..

Meaning: You're forced to go around handling 999 tiny drums of O2 instead of a handful of ones every time you want to refuel, or absolutely cover your entire ship in RCS intakes and only refuel at stations.

The load times for doing anything is absolutely atrocious, rivaling GTA V on release and the game is absolutely crammed full of critical bugs requiring said frequent loading, be it characters soft-locking into being in a coma because you had the audacity to skip time while sleeping, NPC's endlessly running in place causing huge lagspikes due to broken pathfinding or the performance that degrades so badly the game literally becomes unplayable after a certain point. It's clear the game was years away from being ready for release, yet the devs kicked it out the door anyways.
