Cool idea of Battlefield/Arma with capitalism. Unfortunately the devs botched the execution.

Stand in a circle. That's it. If people spend an hour building a huge base + running logistics, you can make an oil rig that pulls the circle temporarily. It's a shallow and ultimately boring concept that gets worse once you look at:

---

They are WAAAAY too big for the current player count (33v33v33). Basically full-sized Arma/DayZ but more than half the players are busy traveling, doing logistics, building & defending FOB's, manning artillery, etc. The end result is that you have at most 8-15~ of players from each team actually fighting & trying to do the main objective and more often than not, players are scattered across the map because the devs thought it'd be funny to make squads opt in only, causing any level of cohesion to be very rare, especially as the VOIP randomly breaks 95% of the time.

---

Neat idea but ultimately ends up severely harming the game due to people being fiscally incentivized to doing egregious shìt such as camping whenever and wherever possible (especially with snipers since prone exists and guarding enemy corpses, ignoring the main objective), stealing kit off teammates instead of reviving them, running into combat naked hoping to loot stuff or going in with the cheapest garbage available despite having money due to most unlocks being prohibitively expensive, not doing critical work such as repairing FOB's under artillery fire because you don't get any money from it and the list goes on.

No jets/planes. They are in the game as ambience but not playable.

You can't see health of friendly players if not holding a bandage/medkit.

You can't easily tell what someone's "role" is, AKA what they're carrying in their utility slot (medic, builder, scout, etc).

You can't move crates/pallets around (dropped by helis/trucks) and nor can you pick them back up again, despite them being physics-based and blocking important spaces 9/10 of the time.

You can't have saved loadouts.

You can't see how long a server match has been going for before attempting to join one.

There's no visual indication at all if you are in the "hot zone" or not outside of the minimap and nor can you see where it's actually heading unless you stop what you're doing to stare at it.

a) Lots of the Risk & Reward stuff is completely out of whack. One example is tanks: 500,000$ to unlock, 20-25k to roll one out + requires 2 dudes + a very long & slow drive... Gets instantly creamed by either 1 guy in a bush with 500$ in C4, a 5k drone launched from safety, or even artillery across the map.

b) There's no matchmaking and no catch-up mechanics. Most games ends up having 1 side steamroll the entire match, usually by having several FOB's. While this may not seem like a big deal, it becomes catastrophic due to point 3 as people being fiscally encouraged to NOT spend any money on a round they seemingly have already lost, crashing their chances of winning further.

c) The progression is a hot mess and hard-blocks new players from being granted the most basic bare-bones essentials such as no pistols (wtf?), no medicine, no means to destroy armor/buildings, no backpacks, no AP ammo to not get steamrolled by level 100+ players in super heavy armor, etc.

d) You heal yourself as quickly as you do others (making medics borderline useless) and when you do heal others, you slow down just enough to not be able to keep up with someone going walking speed and if they step one pixel out of line from your crosshair, the entire thing cancels. They also barely get informed that they're being healed as well.

e) If you do logi, buy a bunch of stuff, put it in a crate, deliver and dump it at your FOB but nothing gets sold, you don't get a refund when the match ends. This regularly leads to people running out of essential supplies when the match is nearing the end. There is a "refund" system in the game so i'm not sure why the devs decided to punish the bejesus out of logi players.

f) They implemented a 50% "Newbie discount" that goes away when you're level 10. Cool, you can test stuff and not bankrupt yourself!..... Except you can't because everything is locked behind progression.

g) If a match is going badly and your team is pushed back outside of the zone, players that transport teammates there get ZERO money & XP, encouraging them to either give up entirely or suicide-drop them directly into enemy fire

The game has one. Read why that is bad here:
