Are Spanish applications proceeding or are they stuck?

Dear Devs,

I am very interested in being part of the translation team for Steam, and I applied like 3 weeks ago for the position. I believe my translation was accurate enough to be included in the team, but in any case i would have expected an email informing me about the status of the application queue at some stage, which I haven't received.

Does this mean the Spanish queue is so overwhelmed that there is no room for applications? I just want to be sure about that, since I have seem hundreds of games with no Spanish description and I would love to help with that (especially since for some of them I will soon be the official localisation specialist working to localise their game content). I am trying to put my extense translation and localisation experience in the table, but I want to know if I can just quit trying here because you already have what you need (something I somehow doubt, but it's not me the one judging this here).

As you can see in the other made topics in this group, applications are often complete. I'll wait the moderator of the Spanish language update you on this situation instead of making my suppositions. One thing i can warn you about, is that you won't be doing those translations (Those pre-done descriptions for the only purpose of judging the translations qualities.) You will mostly do tanslations related to Valve, and of their projects, which could be Steam, the Steamplay dev program, or their games. The games descriptions locales are being managed by the developer or publisher themselves.

Great, thank you very much. That's enough for me. Just wanted to know if the process is ongoing or stuck, but if requests are being handled then fine, even if it is just for a rejection. Thanks for clarifying.
