My application didn't get a response

Hi, I'm posting this here because I have a little problem: January 21st I applied to Steam Translation (language: Italian), I received the confirmation email, but I still haven't received a response. Is it normal? I hope I didn't post this in the wrong place. Thanks for considering this post.
PS I'm not complaining nor I mean to sound rude or anything else.

Your application has been correctly submitted and awaits review by a moderator. That depends on how active Italian moderators are and how often they review new applications. I see that there are currently 11 applications pending, the oldest one being from Jan 13, so I guess you just need to wait a bit more :)
