Been a pleasure and an honor.

Best crew i've run with, and i'll miss the good times, and the laughs. The unthinkable has happened. The Iron fisted Valerius is replaced.

I wish you all the best of luck, 4-5 kill rounds on the regular, and good fortune.

OG V is stepping back, and OG Smitherson is taking the reigns. Entrusting the continuity of the clan to him as a friend and a player is the best move. He's got huge plans, big ideas, and a great sense of humor and fairness. He's a great comrade, and a better player.

I know you guys will do well, and I'll miss being a part of the rush.

Fun-Run

New or old, I'd like to see one last fun-run this weekend while I am around. So pick a day that works this weekend to be around and have a blast and pick up rank. Its the last time i'll be around to join you guys for it.

Resignation

As one of the longest running members of the Rangers, I'm proud to say I've had some very good times and met some awesome people out in the field (And some complete assholes at the same time). Unfortunately, I came here today today to annouce my resignation from the squad. Some of you may speculate that this is all a conspiracy to try to leave the clan and cut all connections that I"ve made thus far; but this is not the case. I've decided that it will be better for my life and my future if I step down from the competitive/Counter-Strike scene, and really gaming in general. I hate to do this to you guys; you are all awesome people and it is truly unfortunate that I only know you guys through Counter-Strike. If you ever need/ want to contact me, you can either message me here and I will try and get back to you as soon as possible or you can shoot me an email at the address provided at the bottom. Best of luck to all of you guys, I hope that everything goes well both in your CS careers and in real life.

Hiatus

Alright Ranger,

There was a lot on the table when this clan came together to organize.

We're at a stagnant point where we have a full crew, but nobody has the ideal time to compete. I personally have to call a serious hiatus, due to personal and political reasons. I want to start organizing and voicing with the crowd again, and I intend to try and join a presidential hopeful's campaign staff in some small way, so I have to start now.

A few things ;

I will come back one day.

Secondly, I need the officers to come back and start being serious and take over.

There were going to be 2 squads, one the actual active tournament roster, the other a team of alternates and people competing for spots on Bear squad to compete.

It is still possible, as is the clan competition and a server to train with. It takes time, and a bit of cash, and some dedication. If people splinter off it'll never happen. If you want to be serious, and be the best, put the time in.

I'm taking 'applications' if you will, for who to transfer ultimate authority to in a group. I'd prefer it not just be one person. We play and fight as a team, we govern as a team.

Be sharp out there.

Server & Teamspeak Cost

Anybody interested in bringing back the private server or renting out another teamspeak server? Server went down with an issue I was having with billing, and there was not a ton of use to start with. We also lost the communal teamspeak server, but as far as CS:GO usage there was really only a handful of us.

Digging around very briefly, rates seem to be as follows:
For a private CS:GO server
10 Slot 64 Tick: $10 a month (EOREALITY)
10 Slot 128 Tick: $20 a month (EOREALITY)
12 Slot 64 Tick: $10 a month (Game Servers)
10 Slot 128 Tick: $10 a month (Game Servers)
For a private TS3 server
10 Slot: $3 a month (EOREALITY)
25 Slot: $7.25 a month (EOREALITY)
10 Slot: $4 a month (Game Servers)
25 Slot: $8 a month (Game Servers)
