Update: issue was "fixed" like 5 minutes after this announcement. Do you think Valve's ears are burning?

Well, word has gotten out pretty quickly about an engineer glitch in which if you use the Short Circut's alt fire on someone on the opposite team, it will lag them, and the server...Not surprisingly, players jumped on the bandwagon immedietly and started abusing this glitch.

I'd like to take the time now to please ask everyone to not use the alt fire on the short circut (or even forgo using the short circuit entirely) until such time that this issue is fixed. Up to tf2 devs at this point.
