Kaos 24/7 is Back!

If you know anything about Terraria you probably know about the very recent update to the game from version 1.1 to 1.2, it's HUGE! After develepment ceased for Terraria just over a year ago, the player base slowly dropped to incredibly low levels, this did of course have an effect on the servers as well. Kaos 24/7 was one of the servers affected by this and unfortunately the server was shutdown until further notice. 1.2 has come out and everyone is excited, the player base is rising once again, and we're back! I started working on the re-opening of the server a couple months ago when I heard about the work on 1.2, and alpha testing is over! I am opening the server for beta-testing as of now using exclusively TShock 4.2 (PR12). During this open-beta I will updating the server regularly with plugins and tweaks based on your feedback.

I will be using the same website as before, but know that I have not touched it since 2012 so it will look the same for now and all information on the site should be considered outdated. That's right this time around we have a teamspeak server dedicated to the server. Hop on in sometimes and chat it up sometime, we also have channels for other games if you're interested as well.

I am using a new 1.2 generated map for beta-testing purposes only, this will be changed upon release of the full content. Anything you created on the last map was not saved and was lost upon the format of the computer the backups were stored on, but I'm sure all of you creative people will have no trouble creating new things with the release of 1.2 and all it's snazzy goodness!

Now now now, before any of you ask! Let me clear this up right here and now: There will be no staff chosen until at least the full release of the server. For those of you interested in becoming a member of staff, participating in the beta and helping to find potential issues is a seriously great way to show that you are dedicated to the server and are interested in being a part of the community for a long time.

A ticket system will be implemented soon that will allow you to type a command in-game to submit any bugs or feedback you have. For now, click here and create a new discussion.

As always if you want to know something just shoot me a message or comment, but here are a few things worth mentioning that you might be curious about:

• This is a temporary map for beta-testing only, feel free to do whatever you need to do, for science!
  
• This is a BETA-TEST, the purpose of testing is to find any potential issues so that they may be resolved before they are abused. In short, try to break the game!
  
• I am not advertising the server until it's full release. That being said, you can feel free to invite any friends you would like to help!
  
• Don't think that I am exclusively interested in experienced veterans. If you are new to Terraria that is great! If you think something could be further clarified or you don't get something, that is very valuable information to us! Along with new players, highly experienced ones are also greatly appriciated, you guys are the ones that can find the really technical issues that any rulebreaker is going to be looking for in order to exploit or abuse it. All levels of skill are vital for testing purposes and your input will shape the game for the future in big ways!
