Team 2 Importance

I, Friendly-Fire, refuse to work with you anymore. You will learn to work like a team on your own. If you care enough, you will attend all of GFG's scrims, participate in all practices, and just take the time to schedule your own practices.
Play more TF2 too. It's good practice to harness individual skill.

Practice

All I'm going to say is that both Team 1 and Team 2 need to be at our server at 9pm EST on Thursday for practice. I know that mainly everyone is able to make it. Don't fuck around with this or else we're starting without you.

New Recruits, Practice, and Scrims

Let's start out with the news of the new recruits to the GFG scrim team family... Most of you know Swift. He's playing as Team 1's Medic until Keipo decides to return. And if she doesn't, then Swift is our permanent Medic. Secondly, we have DayO, a semi-regular of our server who mains Scout. Due to Fanny leaving Team 1, we were in desparate search for a new Scout. So here he is. And thirdly, we have (what most of you know her as) Wichita joining Team 2 as their Medic. It's not a certain though since she is being tried out on Saturday.

Speaking of this Saturday (27th), the practice is meant to try out Wichita as Team 2's new Medic. Team 1 vs Team 2. 9pm EST at our GFG server. We'll be playing on cp_granary since we never practice there. More on the topic of practice, we really need to reschedule a better time and day for practice. Please, if you can, send me your free times and days so I can work things out.

Finally, we come to the scrims that will take place in the next seven days. Hmm... well, there's only one. And it's Team 2 vs Team 4 (eniGma). Good luck, guys.

Search for a Temporary Medic

Ugh, if any of you can find a good Medic that would be willing to play as Team 1's Medic for a month or so, contact me. It'll be greatly appreciated...bleh.

Practice and Two Team 1 Scrims

Another week, another practice. We're aiming to get better here. 9pm EST at our server. We'll be playing a new map, cp_freight. In our last practice, we were without Medics. Please Please Please, I need BOTH our Medics to be there. Keipo and PyroMutt. I also really need everyone else there. We will start at 9pm, 9:15pm the latest. What would be great is if everyone got there at 8:45pm EST so we could get more prepared.

After a full week of no scrimming, Team 1 has two scrims this week. On Thursday, we will be scrimming against eniGma Team 4 on Badlands at 9:30pm EST. Their server. It's a rematch.

On Saturday, we will be scrimming against Team Shotgun(OO) Team 1 again at 9 or 10pm EST, their server. The map order is Badlands, Freight, and Yukon as the tie breaker.

Practice and Team 1 Scrim (Rematch)

I expect everyone that are in our two scrim teams to be at our server for our weekly practice on Wednesday. 9pm EST, the 10th of Feb. If I can get everyone there, that would be WONDERFUL. It'd be a first too. If we get enought to join, we'll probably play Badlands again and Gravelpit. As for the issue of Medics, Keipo is feeling better, but it is still uncertain if she'll be okay enough to join us. PyroMutt... still unsure if he will be free enough to play (and use his mic...while having sound.)

Team 1 of GFG will be having a rematch against eniGma's newly made out Team 4. We were able to beat them last time, but there were issues. They didn't have Vent, Steam servers were down, and that made unlockables not work, and they had a sub. (So did we) So... it might be a bit harder for us this time. But we will prevail, I'm sure of it! Same map, Badlands. Possibly on Friday, the 12th, 10:30pm EST. I'm hoping Keipo can join us this time.

If you are unable to attend either of these events, please go ahead and pop me a message. I'd like to know ahead of time. Thanks!

Practice and Team 1 Scrim

Tonight, 9pm EST, there is practice in our server. Team 1 vs Team 2 then maybe some scrambling of the teams. It seems that I can find neither of our NORMAL Medics because they never tell me if they're going to be online or not. Woo...

Team 1 has a Scrim against Team 4 of eniGma at their server tomorrow (Thursday) at 10:30pm. On Badlands. If Keipo isn't online for me to tell her anything about it, then E-Lo will sub... Geez.

Two Upcoming Scrims

We (Team 1) have a rematch against eniGma's Team 3. FRO will be switched with Aries to give him a break from scrimming. 10:30pm EST as usual. cp_follower.

Next Friday, on the 29th, we have a scrim against Team Shotgun(OO). It will be our Team 1 vs their Team 1 and our Team 2 vs their Team 2. Should be pretty even, dunno. We're both new, but they're newer. Seriously Texas is one of Team 1's leaders. Kamui is the leader of their Team 2. (Unknown map, btw)

Weekly Practice?

After the eniGma match, it has come to my attention (and a lot of yours) that we need A LOT more practice. Now some of you may not want to do scrimming anymore... but that's fine. You don't have to play if you don't want to. We have replacements. But there are some who still think we can work out a good scrim team.

I am advising that once a week, we lock the server to simply "train." Work on what you think needs to be worked on. We'll work on different maps, tactics, teamwork, and communication.

We pulled through with our practice scrimmage against Piggy's team. Sure, we had some rough spots right before the match, but we were able to make everything work out okay! We charged in like a good team and took those control points like they were already ours! The communication was something out of this world. You'd have to agree with me that it was much different than anything else, right? More tension. Less ease. You're trying to stay alive more and making sure your teammates know what's incoming.

I'm very proud of you all. Keep up the good work and we MAY JUST be able to beat eniGma's team. Knife told me he won't be using his league team, so it'll be easier for us. We're playing on cp_badlands since we know that map now. Uncertain of the time though.
