Hello Gents,

We will be having our second meeting coming next week on Friday night at 9:30 EST - 6:30 pm PST(08/23/13). The Meeting will be held on the same teamspeak server as last, which was ts42.gameservers.com:9152 or 64.74.97.39

During this meeting, expect to discuss topics such as:

- Website usage and tools.
- Team/Faction organization and positions of leadership.
- Role of Faction leaders, and how they will be expected to interect with their teams and League Moderators.
- Clarifying rules and gameplay.
- Upcoming ladder tournaments
- And more!

As always if you have any concerns, questions, and ideas, feel free to contact me or one of the officers. Hope to see you all there, and I hope you're all excited for the coming of Rome II that's coming just around the corner!

Ferrum Procella Website Is Now Active!!!!

Big news for our League this weekend - our website is up and running! The addres is www.ferrumprocella.com but in order to access it, you will need to have your log-in details assigned to you.

Only active members will be assigned access to the website, so you will need to confirm yourself with Christopholes, and he will send you your log-in name and password privately.

Keep in mind, our website is still in the early stages of development - yet it's looking great already - but many features and finished detials won't be present for another couple weeks at the least.

ALL major discussions, announcements, rules, match schedules, team organization etc will be organzied and listed from our website. Our Steam group page will no longer be our primary means of communication, but I will stil lbe using Steam to make annoucements and adding people to our group.

Hi Guys,

I wanted to make a statement to everyone and say that we're a month away from the release of Rome II: Total War, and that means the time for the League to start to rapidly approaching. That means we have some time to work out all the details to get this active, but I need your help.

In order to make this a success, everyone needs to contribute in some way and be active. Honestly, relying on myself or the officers to do everything isn't going to work, as we have our own lives as well. So I'm asking that if you're a part of this Clan and League, that you help us to make this experience become a reality so we can enjoy this amazing game to the fullest.

If you think you can't be too active, and only want to be a casual member, you can be put on the reserve roster and fight in the battles once a week, or whenever there's a spot for you on your teams reserve roster. People who aren't active enough wil lbe automactically moved to the reserve roster, and people who are devoting more time and energy to the league will have preferance when time comes to play - think of a football team with primary and secondar players.

That being said, we have some active topics going on our forum, here on our group page. For now, get involved, discuss topics, respond to my annoucements if I ask you to, and get to know your teamates and clan mates.

Well, thanks to everyone who has joined so far, and I look forward to having many fun and exciting campaigns with you guys in the near future!

New info has been revealed about the Rome II mp and custom map feature.

"The big, and I mean BIG thing that we learned at the event is that players will have a new way to pick out where they can fight.
Vs. and Co-Op are in, just like in Shogun. The big, and I mean big thing that has changed with multiplayer is how maps are chosen. You will have the entire campaign map in front of you and you can zoom down to whatever area you want and fight on that spot. You want to fight at the Hot Gates? Zoom down. Fight just north? Zoom down just north. Also you can set the coordinates as a favorite spot for future battles and you can also post your favorites to social media so if you find some out of the way area that has a really cool spot to fight on you can let your friends or the world know."

This means we can literally simulate a single player campaign, but with mp and teams representing each faction. The entire known world is our battleground!

"One interesting new feature to mention - in the past you had to choose a specific map to fight on and there were only a limited number, in Rome 2 players have access to the entire campaign map," he explained.

"Players have this enormous map to battle on and can choose any point on it, so they effectively have tens of thousands of maps to select because there's such a huge variety of cities and terrain."

When you are sure which nation you will fight for, be sure to inform me as to who you will be fighting for. You have time now to think about what culture suits you the most and who you think should be the dominant empire of the world.

I will be on the Spartan team, and most likely leading it - unless someone can challenge me and beat me in a 1v1 battle. Please let me know if you plan to join team Lacedaemon so we can start to strategize and work out team positions and roles.

Any other teams will need to coordinate with each other and elect a captain. The Roman team will be the largest, so a dedicated and skilled captain will be needed to keep that faction in order and successful.

Also, please help recruit for Ferrum Procella, as we will need a sizeable group of dedicated players to make this successful. Thanks in advance!
