Server to reopen tomorrow, 18 o' clock GMT

Sup guys,
the server will be reopened tomorrow, 6PM GMT (03.07.09) - join if you can, please!
It'll have SourceTV again and BeetlesMod will be replaced by SourceMod, some of the custom maps have been updated a little, and all the official maps (including Arena maps) have been included in rotation to attract players. I will need a few testers tomorrow who can help me try all features. Also mp_maxrounds was set to , I'll have to recreate gamemode-based mp_maxrounds-configurations later.

Restarting Fakepunch?

So,

I've really come to the conclusion that I should just restart it and make a new Fakepunch - basically the same as this one, but with stock maps too, to draw players to it. When we establish a player base we might just scrap the official maps or split the server, but for now this seems to be the only viable way.

A group of machinima makers will be filming a machinima in the next couple of days, and their machinima might get people playing.

I have gathered enough money to buy a vBulletin, and I'll try making some more through work and website ads. When I have enough I think I'm gonna buy a better VPS for just $10 more per month that I can run SourceMod and SourceTV on. The site will be completely remade, the old forum will at least be archived but maybe even imported. I'll try making the design more Facepunchlike too (like the pre-'09 Facepunch again of course).

Any objections?

I just saw a photo of the old facepunch in a youtube..
Then I remembered the glorious days of fakepunch.
I literally had an 'American psycho business card' moment when I discovered.. the website is still up.

I'm now finding old emails from 2009, of people reporting each other posts and whatnot.
It must be this way my parents felt, to outlive the fire they once warmed themselves against.

Time to put on some 009 sound system dreamscape and load up counter-strike source.
