Howdy Folks!

It's the moment you've all been waiting for... Our first UGC Iron League Match! Before anything else, you need to let me know when you are available if not Friday at 8:30pm. We will be playing against the Super Cereal Fools on koth_airfield_b7.

Rules

The game will be played in two halves. Each half is over when one team reaches 3 round wins. If Team 1 wins the first half and Team 2 wins the second half, a final seventh round is played as a tiebreaker. The first team to 4 wins is victorious and the match is over.

Please check the list of banned items at the end of this post and make sure you don't have any of them equipped before the match.

We may do a bit of practice leadin g up to the match so stay frosty gentlemen =D

Remember to let me know if there's any reason we can't do the match Friday! See you in the ring.

Howdy!

We are officially kicking off our little journey into competitive TF2. I know when I played my first game I had a lot of questions about what was different, what was the same, and what kinds of strategies are used more in competitive leagues. A lot of good information is available on the TF2 Wikipedia Page .

There are also various league-specific rules (such as no heavy-medic combos) which can be found in the UGC TF2 4v4 Rules[www.ugcleague.com]. Most of the rules won't pertain much to the individual players if you use common sense, but Match and Gameplay Setup[www.ugcleague.com] is probably worth reading along with Map Types and Gameplay Settings (1.3).

Let me know if anybody has any questions! I am currently listed as our team leader so I'll be working with you each week to schedule our matches. Good luck!
