Well they don't do the Can't Grow buffer thing, but now whenever the update's complete, the addon doesn't update, and infacts it removes the gma pretty much makes the addon non-functional

That's not a Crowbar issue, that's a general Garry's Mod thing. I had that same message when attempting to update a very large addon; you need to opt into the x84-64 branch.

"Failed to write file "..." - written n bytes! (Can't grow buffer?)
Your addon weighs too much, switch to x86-64 branch to increase gmad.exe limit."

Yeah i keep getting this error written 16468139995782184960 bytes! (Can't grow buffer?) which only seems to effect the textures of the models

And also on two of my addons, after i updated the addons, the gmas don't download at all.

Don't know whether this is 100% related to Crowbar, but the model decompiling screws up the HL2 pistol viewmodel's fire animations except the initial one.

When the broken fire animation plays, it moves the viewmodel off the screen during the time it's playing.
The viewmodel comes back upon the animation having finished.

This happens even when the model was compiled with no changes to it.

I had this initially happen with Crowbar 0.58. I went and got the latest version and, nope, still happens.

Love the new crowbar, but there's a bug, it will not upload the addon or update it when there are capitalized names, which is bad because it uploads models as errors

o sry, unless you have the Command Line version that is, that tool is a little different so you probably wanna go with his regular release

@ SC | ninjagojosh - yeah thats strange cuz you dont need a program to open crowbar, that auto play menu is for when you try to open like a music file or a video and asks how to open it

but crowbar should just launch as it is its own program window like those programs used to open other files you see in that list, not the files that need something else to open them

you can try and check that auto list of programs and see if crowbar is in there itself, but if not you might have to "browse" then find crowbar.exe again and choose it from the little pop up, or worst case you might have to right click crowbar and run as admin for it to launch so the auto play does show up, thats all i can think of tho cuz that is strange behavior for an .exe

(probably win 10's fault lol or at least we will blame it on them)

Can someone help me with something, i got crowbar but it is doing this thing were it dosent have an app to open it, and when i click on it it says choose app to open this program up, can someone help me find what app i should look for or how i get the app, if it helps im using windows 10 i belive

not sure if its already been pointed out,
but when a model compiled has less sequences than its predecessor, you cannot cancel the compile or do anything, leaving you with having to restart the problem

I allow myself to write this message to tell you that I have changed the .DMX to .SMD for fire weapons only from the "Starter Kit" Toolkit that Splinks was created a long time ago.

For more simplicity for that which uses old 3d software like 3D Milkshape or other like me
this will allow them to create weapons without problems

Hi! Guys, peoplo who know how to use blender, i need your help :,c well i'm noob in this tool and I wanna extrat a model from a big pack of models for a game. The problem is that folder has sub folders with the same name with the same texture files/names but each of them destinated for other models. My question is how can i see -using blender or other tool- to locate the specific location of the texture that i wanna extract ? Manually it'll take me a lot of time. thanks in advance.
