Hi, long time no see.
I know its been a while but There is a new AdminiARK server and want to try reviving it again.
Im sure theres some people that may have forgotten that there even in this group (I did anyway :P) and i will be deleting this group as i am using discord for all information and status updates.

I am sorry to everyone that was left last time. There was a big issue, even though the server i had was powerful and can handle the server, my internet on the other hand couldnt, and i had to shut it down. Now ive rented a server am hosting ark with a few other servers.

I will give this steam group a couple days to see if anyone has bothered to read this then i will delete the group. For now farewell and if you wish to join me on this journey once more come join the discord below or just join our server (the name pretty much the same).

Sorry about that had to rma my Server and just a lot of stuff to do, but now ive got island up with i think a good balance onj the settings and just a few essential mods. will be adding the other maps in the near future as well

I realised that ark updates too often and even though there is a scheduled restart it often leaves the server to be impossible to join for the entire day. There can also be things like server shutdown or other problems of that nature that need immediate resolution.
So I thought It would be good to give my email, as when you contact me this way i get notification on all of my devices. Hopefully this will help.

Dinos too op

I understand that people have been having trouble not just with the dragons but the dinos being too powerful and killing people. So i have done a bit of an overhaul on the difficulty of the dinos by modifying the following:
Increase player damage from 2x to 5x
Increased player resistance to 5x
Halved wild dino damage and resistance while tamed is default
decreased overall dino spawns to 0.7x rather than default 1x
also to allow faster level ups i have increased xp gain for kills and crafting

I hope this resolves this issue, if not please comment bellow. Also i would like these settings to be tested out before i disable any spawns for the dragon mod as i feel it would be much more enjoyable for them if there able to tame them. Howevor I dont mind disabling the spawns if they are still too powerful.
Also i didnt want to decrease the dino spawn too much as then there wouldnt be many dinos.

I will be moving the server to an ssd for improved performance, it should be back up in a few hours from the designated time

Ark requires a very fast hardrive in order to keep optimal performance, but as it stands now it is only on a standard NAS drive which means that massive commands like server backups, mass spawning or destroying all wild dinos will crash the server.
I will be moving it to an SSD in the next several days so until then I trust that some of the more childish admins(Obsidian)cough* refrain from any of this
