Abandoned Life/Wasteland takes place 2 Years before, the events of Fallout:NV; This being said, The Mojave is a bare place and very different from the Mojave you experience within the main-game FO:NV. The Wasteland is bare, empty, It's massive ghost-"town". Strange and Unknown Organisms walk across the wasteland, looking for prey to feed upon; There isn't much left after the massive-battle in between the BOS+NCR, There's Survivor's of the Battle who walk amongst the last-land, It isn't clear who still has their Humanity left and who has slowly had their sanity dripped away.
Abandoned Life takes place in a MUCH Different Mojave from the one the Courier experiences, This is directly 1 month after the massive bloody-battle in between the New California Republic&The Brotherhood of Steel ,The Mojave suffers from massive-amounts of Sand-Storms, spiking heat from 100-110 Degree's, Food&Water is Scarce, Men will do things nobody should see to gain enough to food to pass on by, Weaponry is scarce. Villages&Towns are a rare-sight to come across, most of them being taken over by new-formed Tribes&Raiders from the Survivors of the War. New-Creatures walk amongst the Mojave, being drawn to the Mojave due to all the new food that's been appearing, Creatures from all across the US have payed a visit to the Mojave to feast upon it's residents.
