I think Steam need some old good games like System Shock, Duke Nukem 3D, Dune, Heroes of Might&Magic, The Elder Scrolls 1 and 2 (especcially daggerfall) and others.

You sound like a man who is unaware of the wonderland which is GoG. Go forth... Google it. Thank me later.

GoG (gool old games) is a good place for old games. If you need to go even further back in time, you'll want to try abandonware outlets.
I know about that site. I'm just want see this games in Steam. I'm like Steam and I never have some troubles with games. When I'm download Doom from inet I can't launch him. Trying but can't launching. In Steam everything easy.

Oh god no. Stay away from GOG. Unless like me you also end up spending a small fortune on a huge backlog of epic 300+ hour RPG games that you'll never play ;)
And I'm also don'y like DRM Free. In Steam all your games stays in library. U can launch them from others computers, watch videos, screenshots about them. And good new game hub for every game.

Good Old Games has you covered. It's, not hard to install games from GoG.

Besides, using a computer kind of requires you to know how to operate it. It's not too hard to install a game and execute it. They even give you multiple ways to do it.

Oh, and the games on GOG are generally updated and tested to work on Windows 7 - even ancient ones from the 80s and 90s. Everything I've bought on there (25+ games) has worked fine on Win 7 64bit.

The problem is that most of these old games you want are essentially abandonded, the developer doesn't exist or in many cases the rights to the game are just sitting with some publisher. Good Old Games actually secures the rights and ports these games to work on modern systems. For this reason alone you will never see games like System Shock or Duke 3D on Steam.

Sorry to say that GoG is the only game in town for someone like you who wants to play old out-of-print games.
Yeah u right. Most of developers doesn't care about these old games right now or closed. Like New World Computing who create Heroes of Might&Magic 3. But it will be better if some of these games will be in Steam.
