Thanks for the memories, guys. OMDU was my stress reliever for a long time until I stopped playing when I returned to college.

Managed to max my account level within a few months and had my traps fully kitted with the parts that I want. The addition of chaos keys was a refreshing feature especially when you have completed everything in the game.

I hope the OMD series will be continued as OMD3. Not as an online game but as a real spiritual successor to the first two that can be played offline with an online co-op feature. I bought the first two and its DLC's and I will surely buy its successor if there will be one.

It sure was fun while it lasted!

Thanks!

Well I am late to the party I just found out they were shutting down the game today (yeah I know where was I).
Even more my Wife loves the game I could have sworn she played at the start of the year she is lvl 98 on her account with all her traps at max lvl. I was lvl 90.

We both were Master Founders for the game and spent more then our fair share on more gold and stuff. As we both really enjoyed playing the game.
Yes like a lot a of games we do play things off and on that is the nature of a "Live Service" model.

I am sad to sees the game go but I guess we will still have OMD & OMD2 to play still.

I am not going to lie the decision to terminate this game and not patch it over to a client server system so we can host and continue to play the game without your "main server/dashboard" will really effect my decision to support your games in the future.

Thanks for the great times while they lasted.

When things like this happen to good games it makes me sad. It also makes me double sad when I invest money in to Online games and in the end I lose all my returns. I wish they would just make it an offline single player so we can at least continue to play by ourselves or over P2P if we want to play with friends.

This game had exactly what I was looking for. Playing the first time it was only PvP and not so good, but when I returned early 2018, I've had so much fun in all the differents game types and play styles. I'm so sad of all the time and efford I spend in this game now they are turning the servers off. Please just keep the servers of this game up... The game was not called 'Games must die'. The programmers build something of which I think they must keep believing in. As did the players, building experience and building the fun, investing in what they believed in. A proper OMD3 would be a great alternative. Or just think about making it a paid game with a little changes? Lots of players would support (if not too pricey). Especially if accounts can be returned that way. Not all the orcs died yet right?! Thanks for the developers, the great support and especially the other players.

This makes me very, very sad. I'm a huge fan of Orcs Must Die and I thought that Unchained added a lot of interesting stuff to the franchise. I was gonna suggest that the game be made "single player", with all the items being made available through in-game currency, but, I think now is too late... I hope we can see some of these elements in future Orcs Must Die games, though.

just make orcs must die 3. full price game, fully featured, no microtransaction bullcrap and it will sell. NO FREE TO PLAY!
