Syrsly - thanks for the feedback. Looks like it's a good option to have put in! I tried Longbow again yesterday (from The Lab) after a long time away and couldn't believe the arrows just spawned automatically after shooting the previous one. No button presses or anything. Just "here's a new arrow".

Unfortunately I can't do things that simply as there's a UI to deal with in KD for placing defenses and such (which Longbow doesn't have to worry about), but there's certainly an argument for simplicity which works beautifully in The Lab.

Looking forward to the new mechanic. I also like the "Use Quiver" option being disabled due to wires often getting in the way.

I've just added an option to the game settings for "Use Quiver". This will default to false (so don't use the quiver) and will allow you to spawn arrows without reaching to your back.

Reading your comments again, I think this is what you were asking for originally so you can ignore all my previous questions if so.

It may be up to a couple of weeks before this change makes it into the game though as I've got a lot of other wide-ranging features and issues to fix first before I can release another update.

Hi, can I ask if you're playing on a Vive or a Rift?

There are a couple of variables in play to do with arrow spawning: To stop arrow spamming I force a 1 second delay between spawning. Also, the controllers need to be at least 0.5m apart to stop spawning arrows and instantly nocking them to the bow.

Do either of these conditions sound like what you’re experiencing? If so, tweaking these values at my end would be a quick fix.

Otherwise, when playing do you feel that it's a case of the quiver not detecting your controller or you think it does, but just doesn't spawn quickly enough?

I can increase the collider size of the quiver that detects the controller's proximity to ease the first case.

Unfortunately, I'm unable to release a quick update for this just yet as I'm midway through restructuring some core features. However I'd like to gather as much info from you as possible so the next update does contain fixes that work best for you.

Can you PLEASE make it easier to pull the arrow from the back? I am having such a hard time playing because of slow arrow availability
