A mix of Master Of Orion and Space Empires.

Presentation (UI, etc) is pretty basic, but gameplay is good.
However, another 4x space game that does not have any meaningful combat. It's just rock paper scissors with beams, missiles and kinetics. Not much to it.

Personally, I think it would have been one of the best 4x space games if the combat aspect would have been more fleshed out. That's the only thing missing from the gameplay feature side. Everything else is there.

Simple.
Unlike some games in this genre, you can be interrupted then pick it back up without losing your place.
