I bought this game at launch, but this is the update that might just make me start playing it more.

Thanks for listening to our never ending complaints, SCS.

With the Rescale, there might be more easter eggs!

Trucks are allways free content....

I love the games SCS produce. The only thing I hate with ATS is that they are literally making everything a DLC. You can't make every single truck you design a DLC or all the states you design a DLC. Other than that they are doing a very great job. Keep it up!

They have to redo San Fransisco and San Diego
San Fran : Unrealistic (I think)
San Diego : I-8 begins/exits on I-5, not Mexico

Since this is going to take a few months and it is obvious that no new map DLCs will be dropping until the rescale is done is there going to be other new content, like maybe some new trucks *hint*

SCS, I purchased All your previous Truck Simulators, and aside from the usual satisfaction of playing a game you guys have obvliously made with us in mind... Your true to your word and have now blown my mind in terms of consumer trust for a company. I will be getting your new games as they come along, and am so thankful that there are stil companies out there that don't just see $$$ signs when you make games. Kudos to you!!

I-80 doesn't end in NYC. It ends in Teaneck, NJ approximately 17.6 mi away from NYC.

1:20 is quite an undertaking. So is driving it: Interstate 90 takes about 60 hours in real life to drive from one end to the other (Boston to Seattle). It is the longest Interstate highway in the US. When all is said and done, you're looking at 3 hours in-game to make that run. I look forward to it.

I live in West Virginia and my hope--when the map gets that far--is to recreate some of the mine roads and hazardous state byways we have here, particularly in the Southern part of the state where the roads can be in very poor condition, the cargo is usually overweight, and there's lots of gradients that will absolutely destroy truck brakes.

I was looking forward to their DLC but I have to say I am happy they are taking a step back from releasing DLC and are going to refocus on making the game better over all before they start expanding. It is rare to see that in today's industry because people would just be worried about making money and pushing out DLC to fatten their bank accounts. So it is a big breath of fresh air to see someone who is worried more about the over all quality of the game instead of money income.
