I think there's a problem with ScriptingTriggers currently. I have this mod I made that uses them to detect and then handle placement of cards, but recently it's been working only erratically whereas before it always worked without fail. Sometimes i even see a scripting trigger appear but not apply the action that it should.

There's no difference between the times when that script does work and doesn't. All I'm doing is calling the same functions. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't.

I am currently experiencing a similar problem to this person:
despite having the latest version.

I've tried a few thing already such as setting differnt bindings for the tap function as well as verifying the game's file, but nothing I've done so far has helped.

Hands being hidden by default is absolutely nothing new, I personally don't remember a time they ever weren't, and since most games with hands want only the person using that hand to see it it's the option that's more convenient for the majority of players.

Singleplayer in general isn't the focus of this game anyway, there's a small number of tabletop games designed for a single player to start with, and even fewer of those are on the workshop or included in the base game or DLC's.

Also, I'm not really sure what you're talking about with the game constantly checking for updates, I've personally never had that problem. The only thing the game has ever done for me is loaded the thumbnails for workshop content in-game, which you need to be able to see when selecting a game anyway. Maybe it's a difference between multiplayer and singleplayer? I've never done singleplayer for longer than it takes to make sure everything in a game works personally.

Why, why, why are hidden hands now enabled by default?

Well, better question, why can't I set them globally to be disabled by default? I usually play alone, and having to CONSTANTLY go in and set that marker is really sucking the fun out of using this piece of software.

Also, is there any way you could make it so that DLC or addons or whatever aren't constantly looking for updates? It's seriously like once a minute, and not only would an update not have any effect on the game I'm currently playing, but half the time it'll search while I'm clicking on a counter, locking the button down and making it count up or down until I click it again, then have to remember where it's supposed to be set. Just, let it check once at the start of each game, or when TTS is booted or something. It doesn't have to be constant, it's annoying.

v9.4 Hotfix 1, restart Steam to get the update as soon as possible

Fixed tooltip on turns menu.

Added getPlayers() to the Player class.
Added Player["Color"].print() and Player["Color"].broadcast().
Fixed color member variable missing from Player["Color"].

So the turn options is nice. But it seems the update messed with the way Players are handled in the script - specifically I keep getting issues when trying to access the color field of the players. Piror to the update it was working fine

Yea they've said that they'll work on VR soon. I hope it's the next patch too. I'd guess next or one after that

Any possibility of 16:9 jigsaws?

You know, the more that simulator goes on, the more it will be hard to top!
