Motaku if u buy the game from itch.io u get a zip file. unzip that file and u get the game in a folder. Just go to steam and select activate a non-steam product. Link it to that folders EXE and u can add a NON steam game to your steam library

@motaku96 You can claim the Steam key in itch.io after the game is released on steam, not before.

@Cat Daddy: You get a steam key from itch.io immediately and you can activate and download from steam with that? Or will it give you the key when it gets released on steam?

Sorry this happened to you guys, but I have to say I really appreciate you trying to work this out instead of kowtowing immediately to an unreasonable demand by some unsupervised staff with an agenda. Hope it comes to the higher ups' attention and gets sorted.

Valve employees are incapacitated from all the fapping. Forgive them. They're so new.

If what you are saying is true then why some developers have been in review limbo for two months? Don't tell me valve employees start preparing for the Christmas holidays in October! Oh and btw, why only the developers with nudity/sexual content games are stuck in the reviews or some even getting banned before even releasing their games without even violating any laws(since the games haven't been released yet and r still in review process!). And why doesn't valve tell the developers that the review process might take much longer(forever!) during holidays! We are talking about a multi-billion dollars company btw! I am pretty sure that if they truly needed a couple more reviewers then they wouldn't mind hiring them, at least for the sake of their reputation!

I wouldn't go getting paranoid that Steam is doing anything besides it being the holiday season where everybody wants to release games.

Steam probably have half the reviewers they normally do (vacations), but at the same time have about 10x the volume of games trying to release. The rest are probably daydreaming of their upcoming vacation, hence putting them into "vacation mode". There's really no reason for them to hire temps, cause honestly they will make more off the sales of discounted games than any of the new games on the upcoming winter sale.

Honestly at this point, you may be better off waiting until near the end of Feb otherwise you'll get lost in the ton of sales. Pretty sure steam sale starts tomorrow until the end of the year. And fighting against sales, or enticing people to buy your game right after the winter sale, when they' spent a bunch on games they haven't finished yet...probably won't end well for your game.

Bought the game a few months ago through dlsite and i was kinda happy seeing it come to steam, but then this ♥♥♥♥♥how happened and now steam is quite literally saying "nah we don't want anymore money", once again cementing the complete loss of touch with the consumer base as has been demonstrably deteriorating over the past few years.

Amazing game. Hope it makes it in regardless.
