You can freely put people on rest and back to work!

oke, so the manager can give employees rest? and if its get busy you can take them back?

@QuintenRulez: We currently have no immediate plans to add working shifts since they won't add anything meaningful to the gameplay: there's already a way to let people rest and since the life in a restaurant is not regular those shifts would require constant changes, being completely useless in the planning phase!

We tend to favor a fun and interesting game over a perfect simulation, but when we can have a fun simulation we obviously work to put that in place! Said that, things may change in the future if we find a proper way to make them work with the current energy system!

I have given a longer description of the chef job bug in the bug section of Discussions.

Thank you for letting us know, we will look into what you said!

Now that I have a busy restaurant the chefs get tired way too fast. I need double the chefs so that an entire staff can rest and work. With people coming in all day all the time they never get any rest. I am going to end up with more chefs that waiters.

What is happened is I turned off desserts for all chefs except for the one I trained. Then without any notice I see that everyone can do desserts again. I'm not sure if its triggered by going into the promotion screen because I visit it quite a lot as it is currently the only way to tell if you have a staff promotion available.
