Hi MastroLindo, that was a big topic here a few months ago. I learned far too late that the libraries I'm using in Java for drawing are well-known for using up large amounts of CPU. To reduce this as much as possible, the board state is cached, and only the text and UI elements are redrawn each frame. Unfortunately, to reduce it much further, I would need to rewrite all of the code associated with drawing, which is not realistic at this point in development.

Thanks for the game, it's amazing, and it has so much content (even if sadly I am almost finishing it all!)
One question: I noticed on old laptops that the game really loads the cpu a lot and warm the device up, is there maybe something you could look at? In theory I would expect to be basically idle most of the time..
Anyway again, thanks! Bought 3 copies to some family members and they loved it!

@Equino_X2 I don't have any plans to port Tametsi to mobile. Even using a mouse, misclicks happen; on a small device with a touchscreen, I think the whole experience would be worse. I also don't have any experience developing for mobile, so I'm not in a good position to port it.

Thank you for your continuous support of this gem of a puzzle game! Were you thinking about porting it to a mobile? I would gladly pay again to have a portable version I could take with me everywhere.
