I backed Skies but only received a couple of no-attachment emails from the lovely Hannah. I am bereft.

What's the game like nowadays?

Travel should be faster over previously mapped terrain. When something threatening approaches, just drop us back to normal time. This would enhance the gameplay experience, reducing the grindy feeling.

Once again, stellar job on this update. Albion is WAY better this way. It looks gorgeous, is interesting to explore navigate (the previous map was far too big and empty), and the spectacle interactions are a spendid idea.

One tiny detail though, the soundtrack playing when docked at the Home Bureau is a little too energetic for this abandoned, quiet place. I liked the Early Access track way better ( which I have yet to hear after this update... Since it isn't in the soundtrack I hope it does play somewhere).

Did you hear that they shrunk the size of Albion? This update seems to be addressing the problem of long boring travel times, whilst avoiding increased speed. I'm glad they've done to this to Albion because it was the worst region in terms of having large boring distances to traverse.

Multiple movement speeds would disrupt the new combat mechanics in many ways. If you can be faster, that means some enemies will have to be faster, and anyone foolish enough to enter the Blue Kingdom too early will be mercilessly chased down by monstrosities. Everything having a set speed is what makes the game playable and challenging right now.

Still no faster travel, although it's been asked repeatedly in the forums. Why? Why force players to travel faster to use 3rd party tools to achieve something that should be an ingame option?

Sounds great, and I really appreciate the post-launch support! Alas, as mentioned elsewhere, I had hoped for the level cap to be lifted with this update...

Sounds like fun! But especially with changes like the ones to survivability, I would like the option to be able to turn on(or off!) merciful mode(save/load) when selecting a new captain in the same lineage.
