I just realized that HELLION should have infested aliens that makes the game more complex and difficult that would turn the game into a hardcore, horror, space game which would increase the level of hostility to the environment of abandoned structures and allow those aliens to get onto your ship and infest your next location without you knowing it. (The reason I say this thing is because HELLION has guns but you rarely see anybody so the whole point of having weapons would be a stupid thing, no offense Devs)

AWESOME!!......and don't forget to fix auto-stabilize in the options so that it can be turned OFF. Gameplay should perk up once again.

@GROZZ Of course bugs are being worked on. You'll probably see a change log posted upon release that will detail many of the changes/fixes.

this new update sounds all well and good. but have you, or ARE you going to start working on fixing all (or ANY) of the bugs and glitches???? the game is currently unplayable due to the sheer number of bugs and glitches.

>If only they would also introduce inertial dampeners as option;
We do have some form of dampening (M button), also 'full' dumpening is not entirely possible in case of hellion.
1. 'dampening' usually works relative to '0' speed, but in Hellion '0' speed relative to planet = falling to planet (or sun).
2. 'dampening' relative to selected object will result in ship constatnly using fuel to compensate for micro changes (becase despite what it looks like objects are not stationary in relation to eaach other), will be really confusing when moving to other objects and probably contradicts whatever mechanics is used to make orbits possible. And since objects themself are not stationary there will be even more issues.
Developers implemented 'sort of dampening' related to objects (M) to compensate, works really well for docking and simply waiting, but needs a bit of love and to work from somewhat bigger distances (because 250m from asteroids and large stations is curently unsafe).

Make sense to recycle things. Finally the devs did realize that there is no fun in collect stuff to get oxygen to repair your base to collect stuff to get oxygen.... While resources has to be discovered, if you focus the gameplay on accomplish something, instead than maintain your equipment as main game loop, there is more fun in it.
If only they would also introduce inertial dampeners as option; but you don't want to upset the couch-space explorers that can't accept that the game may have means to be simpler, as choice.

>when can we get some much needed quality of life stuff for Starting out?
What exectly do you mean? Starter area probably will be relatively unchanged sans additions of nano-cores, which probably will be in civilian and military zones.

>And controls while in space is a ♥♥♥♥♥ in a half.
What's wrong with them? Classical 'space' controls as long as your ping is decent, the only difference from most other games is that there are no dampeners and you need to sync speed by pressing M or hold using shift.

+1)

So um.. when can we get some much needed quality of life stuff for Starting out? And controls while in space is a ♥♥♥♥♥ in a half.
