I've seen some people around here saying that they wouldn't play the game even if it were F2P because it's just not fun, free or not, so I want to ask to those of you who are still deciding... Would you play the game if it went F2P? I personally would.

1. Proves that the DOTA IP isn't viable to branch off of. 2. Demonstrates that Valve isn't immune to being held accountable for their poor optics. 3. Quite possibly killed the online card game trend. 4. The dropping of this game forced valuable employee reallocation towards possibly more desirable projects. 5. Shut down a potentially dangerous business practice that AAA publishers would have leeched from. 6. Killed DOTAs momentum....

I havn't bought the game, but I would if you got all the content from the initial purchase, and then released additional content via expansions. I think a lot of people would like that, and it could revive this game. Maybe people who bought packs could get future expansions for free....
