For me the AI died just as quick as before. Last game it was November 2056. So not that late in the game. Also the colonies spam too early for me - ships are too small or too slow and expensive to reach them before famine happens.

I tested a 8 player game and it was really strange how passengers handled. They always used first class and for the starting portions of a planet rapidly amassed colonists but then traffic dies down to a total stop. Colonists seem to scale but casual traffic does not.

The AI also kept stockpiling machinery on Luna. By the time I realized it 7000 of the stuff was stashed there for no logical reason. I didn't even know planets accepted machinery past their limit! AI bugs, but atleast they are working more as intended then they used to.

Well as for 1v1 making the Ai more competative, in my predefinened hard game they lost the game by 2061, so now I have no competetion.

This is a copy of Nov 18th patch notes. The v0.2.5 notes look to be different in the game main menu.
