I feel like the AI should have more variety on its decision making. If you play with multiple AI, they will basically all choose the same business path, build the same ships and go down the same routes and trade the same resources. Even after a while of test permutations I'm finding they all basically do the same stuff.

Perhaps give each AI company weight over what "type" of resource they want to gain market share of instead of optimizing each ship and route with whatever resource seems more economically exploitable in a given time.

@mt_worlds, my suggestion would be to add more flavour. Remember the old "high seas trader"? You would have a simple screen where your own house would appear, you could buy bigger estates, and display there objects you collected - all of which costed a lot of money.

It gave a sense of acomplishment. Perhapes you could think of leaving some tiles in the planets up to purchase, where you could buy and build mansions, private gardens etc. There should also be a vanity screen to display all the junk you bought and collected. Said property could give small bonuses.

That would give the game a little more sense of uniqueness, a personal touch that right now is kinda missing in the game.

Really not sure about long-term. However, I don't think this is something we would add prior to full launch rainbow. It's already on our list of possible ideas post-launch.

Having issues where route settings for cargo pickup and delivery are overriding other route settings. Example: Route 1 Food set to Do Not Wait, Route 2 Food set to Wait For Full Load. When checking between them from Route 1 Food then clicking on Route 2 food it sets Route 2 Food to Do Not Wait. It does this same thing on all cargos for pickup and delivery settings. A\Is anyone else having this issue?

having an issue in a custom game where the local goverment isnt colonizing anything at all its about 5 years into the game and only mars and luna are colonized

All the routes and shipt were in the same system, haven't traveled interstellar yet :)

Arros, were they on interstellar routes? Do you know if they were in interstellar space when you saved or if they were in a system? Thanks!
